I live in Kansas and I have never seen these here until today. I was mowing and got bit by three of them!! It's good to know they are not genetically engineered by Bill Gates to give us a disease. That was my first thought. I had to research it and find out what I could. I am glad to know they don't carry diseases. I used citronella spray after getting bit by the first two. The third one didn't bite until I was done mowing and I figured I'd sweated off the spray. so far I don't have any itchy bite marks. Thank you for giving us the information.
1:07 Had one bite me a few years back while mowing grass. It hurt a little more than usual, and when I saw what it was, I took its life faster than light. The after effect of the bite felt like a bruise.
Got some heavy rain in Gulfport and had this dime size mosquito 🦟 land on my chest, it was in straight attack mode, was not a Crane fly or Male mosquito...huge.

The thumbnail and also 1:11 Cringing just thinking of the mosquito biting right under the fingernail. That would suck because it would probably itch like hell due to it being a sensitive part of the body, and not being able to scratch it because your nail is over it.

I live in a small Missouri town with a stupid amount of mosquitos just a second ago I tried to get a little mosquito to pop on my arm my tensing it up and not letting pull its vampire fang out and I noticed this pain on the bottom of my shoulder on a clothed part of my body and it felt like like a magnified mosquito bite so i figured it just got a more sensitive part of my arm and i continued to try to get this other mosquito to pop on my arm like 7 seconds later it gets worse so i look at it and i could of sworn a giant asian murder hornet grew a mosquito sucker and chose me as its target so i googled "giant 7 inch mosquito" and found this horror and I will probably have to see a therapist for ptsd for the rest of my life

I was there in 1961-1962, was scared to death!! A boy named Smith was beaten til he was black & blue and bleeding from the buttock,s. He was showering when I seen him, then one day I was picked to clean the White House, the sheet,s were stained with blood, I was terrified and scared til I was finally sent home, but something told me something was,nt right about this place. I reached the rank of Pilot, there was only 1 Ace in the whole place at this time. Seem like our caretaker was Good man at time. I think I was in Cottage 11 at the Reform school.?
