@@hpmendoza I told Grant this separately but the film definitely hit me differently the second time I watched it. Was strangely much more emotional of a journey for me on the second go around. And the line “I promise you, someday you will stop trying to fly” is one of my favorite lines of any movie. It just hits all the emotions for me.
@@WatchorPass and to your point about wanting more ambiguity in the end: the problem was that I'd just watched two movies in a row (one indie, one Hollywood) where the movie ends with "did he or did he not jump/fly?" So I wanted to make an ending that FEELS like a definite ending, but the more you watch it...you notice its even more ambiguous than before :)
@@hpmendoza Right! I thought about that and the way it ends, I'm like... is this in his head or is this real. And also, what does he do at the end? Assuming he unlocks the secret, does he enjoy this or does he decide that he is now at peace.
