@@UnlimitedKam most expats stay in the Mosaic which is right near the mall Buena Vista. It’s a little pricey tho, but WiFi is good as they have a lot of digital nomads working there.

40:10 mark - Kam I need to challenge you on the $300 a month for groceries, private school and taxis. Maybe a private Dominican school which at best is public plus. But a private internationally accredited school in the DR is easily $400 a month and that’s just tuition and not all the extras. Look up I think Carol Morgan school as an example. There are plenty of private schools that expats and the wealthy Dominicans send their kids too. Several in Santo Domingo and half a dozen or more in Punta Cana. Private schools are expensive and public schools are TRASH 🤷🏽♂️ I got several friends with school age kids. That’s their biggest spend 🤷🏽♂️
Yes I miss spoke, the private dr school for kids undar 8 are that much. When you go to the official school for middle/high school it cost more, but still cheaper then private school here in the US
