This is the only sport my kid likes to play and i have seen him quit everything when he doesn't do well. And i want to help him find something he loves to do and see him persevere and learn he can do anything if he sets his mind to it.
I want him to do well. In the spring he was just a rec. ball kid and the local travel ball team is more win at all cost and that spills over into rec. ball. They can't wrap their heads around the fact that the rec. kids only get to play 2 or 3 months a year. This fall he made a travel team that is more about development which is great. Now it's worrying he won't be good enough to stay on the team or get game time. Just want him to have the chance.
