But the Bible tells us to spread the word of God and to do it boldly, but coming from love. We only say these thing because we love you and want you to have a place in Gods kingdom. If we didn't love you we wouldn't bother telling you because we wouldn't care if you went to hell.
When you except Jesus as the son of God and your savior, your salvation, then you have to live by the word of God. And the word of God gives us ways to live by. Things we can do and things we can't do and the truth is unless you have God with you, you won't be able to understand these things because understanding doesn't come from our self it comes from God. But this guy in this video gets it right mostly, I'm not sure if he was saying he had a problem with Phil saying what he said or not.

I came from a drug addicted (25 yrs) lifestyle and am now a faithful follower of the one true King. I have had alot of people walk out of my life due to my behavior (including my son). But God remained with me and helped open up a whole new life that is unlike anything i could explain until one feels it for themselves. I cleaned myself up through God and God only...no rehab....just prayer!!! There is power in Christ Jesus to overcome anything!!!
Phil Robertson lost his light when he got his own tv show. With his new higher sense of self, he went out and started bashing the life styles/ orientation of others. I hope one of his grand children turns out gay to teach him and his family a lesson. They think they are better than everybody because they think their religion and faith is better than everyone else's. THAT GOES AGAINST EVERYTHING IT MEANS TO BE CHRISTIAN. He said it was not LOGICAL to be a homosexual. LOGIC also goes against everything it means to be Christan. The TRUE SPIRIT LYES WITHIN THE HEART. I've been reflecting over this issue. I was extremely mad to some of my friends because they kept posting about why gay should go to hell, about why Phil was correct. I literately cried. I believe that we all are the same, we were created the same. We all have red blood. The problem with a lot of Christians is that they feel superior. As christian our responsibility is to share the good news. Who is going to share them if they have homophobic thoughts. For instance, Jesus was around with a lot of prostitutes, he never judged them, ironically he loved them and forgave them. There is a common quote, ..."Church is like a hospital, for sinners. If you want to see saints just go to the museum...." The bible clearly states that sin is not weight by gravitude. Being a liar is the same as being a homosexual.

Show me where the misquote is in this direct quote from scripture? Romans 1:26-27 "and likewise also the males, having left the natural use of the female, were inflamed by their lust for one another, males with males, committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error." Not to mention the old testament verses... Feeling no conviction does not mean you're in the Will of God. When I was caught in the throes of pornography addiction, I didn't feel convicted because I had gotten so used to ignoring the Holy Spirit's tug on my heart. Where am I showing judgement? When I say I deal with similar sin on a daily basis?
The reason this issue is always seen as bigotry is because it's cherry picked. The bible lists dozens and dozens of sins that all supposedly offend God... including divorce, premarital sex, marrying a woman who isn't a virgin, etc. It's very peculiar that of all these hundreds of rules, conservative Christians pick this one issue out and rile against it, even pushing for laws forbidding homosexuals to marry. Why, in your opinion, do so many Christians adamantly speak out against homosexuality and want to outlaw gay marriage, but none of the other sins? Why isn't there a movement to outlaw divorce? Or outlaw premarital sex? And do you see that this appears as bigotry when you single out one biblical rule to enforce while intentionally ignoring others? Do you see how it appears you are picking on gay people? I mean, you just made an entire video about this issue... but no videos on any other issues like premarital sex and divorce, which are clearly a much more commonly practiced sin than homosexuality.
First, I made an entire video telling Christians they needed to be careful about what they said regarding the Phil Robertson situation. I shared scripture regarding what he talked about. Then I said I'm a sinner and struggle with addiction to pornography which is identical to every other sin. No sin is different.
Is the whole end goal of Christianity just then salvation? Are we to live by a set of rules just to get to heaven? What if there was no "heaven", or that our westernized ideal of Christianity had totally skewed it. God is so much bigger than the Bible. Jesus himself had nothing to say about "homosexuals". In fact, the word "homosexual" was put into the Bible in 1946. How this became a bigger deal than the homeless, the poor, the dying, the abused, the unloved is beyond me. Where's the righteous indignation about those things?
The beginning goal of Christianity is salvation, not the end. Faith without Work is dead. Salvation is recognizing we're sinners and can do no good without Christ in our lives. Heaven is an after-death reward for striving to serve God while we're here. Our goal on earth is exactly what you said, help the homeless, the poor, the sick and spread the good news that Christ can help everyone. I don't think homosexuality is a bigger deal than these, I just think it gets more press and media. How big of a story is it that churches send millions of dollars in aid to help fee starving children every year? The news doesn't want to share that. They want to share hate and anger and stir up people or scare them. Regardless, Christianity is about much more than heaven and living by the tennants of the Bible will lead to a happy and healthy life even if you don't believe in the "spiritual" aspect.

You're a complete idiot. The word 'homosexual' wasn't introduced into the Bible until the 1950's, the word used in translation before that was the word 'effeminate'. The word effeminate in the time and date these words were written translated into something completely different. Don't believe me? Look it up. The word 'effeminate' meant someone who was very vain, and cared more about their appearance sexually than anything else. Effeminate people in the time the bible was written referred to people who slept around with people of the OPPOSITE SEX, not with people of the same sex. Considering the tone of your statements, I doubt you care to hear any response, but it has been agreed upon that both the Leviticus scriptures (which don't use the word homosexual), and the stories of Sodom and Gomorrah, were referring to men having sexual relations with men (and other strange flesh) since the 1st Century AD. Since less than 100 years after Christ's death the word sodomy has been synonymous with non-procreative sexual acts. You are correct that it wasn't until 1946 that the word homosexual appeared in English Bibles; however, all of the uses of the word homosexual are in the New Testament. The old testament is still very clear on the act of same sex relations being an abomination. Regardless, that's only ONE sin. As I shared in the video, I struggle daily with sexual sin. It's inside me that I want to look at women lustfully every day, and every single day I have to battle that lust of my flesh to be a Godly man, a Godly husband, and a Godly father.

The misinterpretations from Aramaic to Hebrew to Greek to Latin to Old English to New English are quite the same as Google translator on overdrive. The problem is that the original scripture for the fair and most part is long gone. That, and for the most part if you tie historical facts into biblical scripture which would happen beings that humans are writing the book. You suddenly find that yes most of the accounts of historical happenings are factual. That doesn't mean that the spiritual is real or isn't real. It just simply means that the person was recording what happened to them in their life and what they personally felt was relevant to their writings. The 1st Corinthians part in particular is actually able to be seen if you have an 18th century bible. The actual translation of the passage says "Homosexual Prostitutes" not "Homosexual". It's a common mistranslation in American culture to say a word means something so we can hate those people. He was actually writing about his experience in a town that was corrupt with both straight and gay prostitutes and how neither is pure in the eyes of the lord. Like I've said to people that use the "Man lying with man" argument, the same scripture also states that men lying with women even if they are married shall only do so to rear children. So an argument could be made for the fact that a homosexual act cannot be considered sin in that same account. Now on to religious persecution, every few years the world is suddenly ending as the bible decreeed. It started in the early 12th century and actually still has commonplace. From the religious persecution I've witnessed personally in America, the only Religion not being persecuted on a daily basis is Christian.

I would say one of the only religions in America to be widely persecuted are Christians. Do you see any other religion having people pulled off their television shows because of their beliefs? It's almost popular to make fun of Christians, to deride their beliefs, and to persecute them as ignorant and less than people. Look at the comments I've received on here. Which I have no problem with because it happens to be your RU-vid channel, but that isn't persecution because you are Christian. Try putting on a Burkha and walking into an airport. That is persecution based on religion, that isn't anything to do with what you said or how you feel about it. The difference in what Christians call persecution and true persecution is that the person that is being persecuted didn't incite it.
