September and October should be really good, most of the tourist are gone and the weather should cool off enough to make night fishing really good. If you know how to fish that pier you can get some really good fish out of there. I avoid it during the summer months

I think it's hilarious whenever people move to Texas and then whenever they get there they realize how shity it is and move back to where they came from. I mean there's literally a pile of garbage at the end of every dead end road in Texas and I personally caught baby diapers floating in the ocean whenever I was fishing

I know the rod is called a Palo, its by a local tackle shop and i dont know the reel… i was using my brother’s @strawhatoutdoors equipment

They end up sticking out like sore thumbs… its just the way i like doing it to ease my wife’s mind about eating fish
