Foam Prop & Costume Making, 3D Printing, & Toy Collecting

Hello Friends, Buddy here at Haas of Props & I want to thank you for checking out my channel! I build replica props, armor and weapons from some of my (and yours) favorite TV shows, movies, & more by using a variety of techniques ranging from EVA foam to 3D printing. (Sometimes combining the two!)
My videos are my attempt at inspiring others to make the props they want to own by showing them the techniques to make it on their own.

Let's get started!

Thanks for watching so many times! It's been so long since I made it, so I went and tried looking at mine. I can't find where it attaches either, so I must not included it either! 😂😂

I know this is an older post, but I’m currently using your tutorial to create my own Viking shield. Everything is perfect, but I’m struggling to get the bowl shape for the center. I’m using 5mm foam and am having a rough time getting it heated/shaped properly. Anyone have any tips or other methods?
@haasofprops
@haasofprops 9 дней назад
This was my first ever boss and I found it difficult as well. What I have found to work really well since making this video is to really heat the foam and press it into a bowl that has a curve which is the correct shape. This will stretch the foam and give a symmetrical dome. I recently went into more detail when making the boss for a Boromir shield if you're interested check that out here (making the boss is at 05:38): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-F5IVYMi0O40.html Hope this helps!
