Make a good grab, Rotate the grapple counter clockwise 1 notch, Lift up the boom 1 bar, Then make the cut. The purpose of the 1 notch Rotate is to open the incision as your bar pivots . The purpose of the 1 bar pre lift is to raise the tree as its cutting. Put it all in a combination and a good cut will be the ending result. I still go thru too many bars myself, but I'm getting better
