if you actually looked in to it, you'd realise that they aint ripping you off, people think 1mbp/s is the same as 1000kb/s, its not. if you head over to our dear friend mr.google you'll find the answer
In the uk, BT is meant to be trialling 10gbps in Cornwall, which is impressive...., but the speed at which they're rolling Out 76mbps fibre, is like using a pigeon to send mail, by the time the last 30-40% of uk gets upto 76, the rest of the world will be exceeding 10Tbps no doubt, although virgin media are quite fast, but costs bit more I think
over here in North Warwickshire, the fastest that we can get through our line at the moment is 3.6mbps! And that's what were told. We don't actually get these speeds. Sometimes when it gets that slow, I plug in a 3g dongle as sometimes 3g is faster then my internet. Sadly, that is one of the bad things about living in the country side :/ and we live less then 6 miles away from Birmingham as well. BT, Sky, TalkTalk and plus net can only offer us 3.6mbps.
these people are not benefiting from such high bandwidth on W.O.W.... the 1ms of ping they were talking about though.... now that would make a difference in gaming....
yes. I am happy because my internet is going to speed up from 0.24 mbps to 1 mbps. it cost $550 for first set up, and $65 per month. I have been using the speed of 0.24 mbps for years. speed isn't that fast, but it's is alot better than 0.24 mbps.
it actually doesn't smell at all, there are alot of air ducts so they pump in frsh air all the time during the event. (and about 95% of the people there use deoderant) ;)
