in 1.21.1 did they nerf the ancient debris spawn? i jsut spent 200 tnt and only found 2 with tnt. i then spent about an hour strip mining and only found 3.
I am sure this build used to be effective. However, currently it is... not great. What I ended up doing was building only one cow hole, a two block wide chute for the baby cows when the water launches them out under the adult cows and a one slab opening that no cows can escape through and through which I can kill them using a Loot 3 sword, increasing the yield(or just eventually entity cramping will kick in if you prefer)
I just spent the last hour gathering all the materials and putting the farm down. does not work at all and you dont even tell us how to activate it. waste of time
This farm is just terrible. The itens get stuck and wont go to the hopper. Cave spiders go above the htting zone and if you go too close you get poisoned by them. I just don't recomend.
Very helpful, thank you. I used slabs on the floor to help with better angle on blazes and making it harder for them to see me. Also put iron bars around the edges of the soulsand so I could get close, but not so close that they could hit back.
It wasnt working for me at first (1.21.1 java). they bred once, and then after that they tried breeding but got angry clouds over their heads. so i added 10 more beds to the bed area and came back a little later and there is 3 more babies and an adult one in the holding area, so its working now. also i added a slab on the bottom half of the block where the minecart picks the villager up. try this if its not working for you.
If anyone’s having trouble here’s some quick solutions. If you’re placing them near rivers or cave systems, then fill up the cave systems/river in a 16x16 radius around the villagers as well as making the grass blocks path blocks. Set up buttons along the top wall of the kill chamber as well as on top of the block of the kill chamber (if you replaced the grass. You can also use fences, iron bars, glass, etc, on top of the kill chamber blocks) then path out 9 blocks around the kill chamber in every direction to make a big rectangle. Iron farm should work super efficiently after :) 👍🏽
it is so hard tp create it on my server cause they spawn like 1 sec after one another, but thankfully it works so well at the end it is just so stressful. i dided for like 3 times building tis
wont the villagers suffocate when u are trying to get them out with the minecart? also dont u need to have more bends in order for more villagers to breed?
works so well, but make sure to add a slab on top of the composter and regularly fill their inventory with bread as well as expanding the bed section horizontally so they can breed more :)
My villagers always end up jumping that gap, for some reason, and end up sleeping in their beds over night. Did this get patched or is there something I'm not doing properly?
