JC roots for all America''s teams Dallas Cowboys, the New York Yankees and I bet he's even a los. Angeles lakers fan, i'm going to just start calling him hollywood
UCF colors are black and gold. Going to have a black out at the SWAMP for game? Just stupid decisions on all levels. Need to scrap it at all levels. This is not my UF. Go Gators
I was truly blessed ("God smiled on the Gators") to watch in "real time" some of the Gators' most awesome & iconic sports moments: from a "Final Four" in '94 to the "Back 2 back" Natty's in basketball, to the National Championships in football, to 2 Heisman winners, some of us "Gator fans" were truly blessed to watch it all unfold (live). So it's so damn sad now that all I can say (in 2024) is... this Gator football program has to start winning games "no one thinks they will win." Because that's "what it'll take" and nothing short of that. Go Gators!
Word from UNLV is that the qb has agent who is asking for more money than promised. Not getting it so is sitting out basically. Throwing a temper tantrum.
Also it only stresses ur kidneys if they are bad. Trust me. You drink and eat way more things that stress ur kidneys than creatine. I did tons of research before I started it. All that stuff has been debunked by science.
Nothing wrong with creatine. Take it as suggested. I am 52 and take it every day in my preworkout. It does not build muscle. It fills muscles cells with water. Only way to build muscle is lifting and eating protein. Also those Creatine myths have been debunked.
Shane, for Gods sakes, why do you have a podcast with this nitwit? Fire this JC character and get another actual former Gator athlete in that seat. Would be worth watching then
JC, I had a meniscus tear way back in the day and got it "scoped." It hurt after the surgery more than it did when I had a "torn meniscus." Just being "real," JC. PS- It still gets "jammed up in my knee" to this day. I wish I could "golf," like Shane. My "release" was on the "street B-ball courts," but my body can't do it anymore at 56. Go Gators! Beat "BYE!"
Speaking of will Grier when was the last time a player has been suspended due to peds is everyone else juicing besides us we are fat and slower than every team we play
Johnny C! Also known as "John Cornell." He had a "sports talk show in Gainesville, FL." with Shane Matthews called, "JC and the QB" on 104.9 FM (now gone). Go Gators!
I will bet the farm, that if a new coach brings his players, our fan base will whine about how they don’t like a bunch of mercenaries who aren’t Gators on their roster. Plus, the way the recruitniks fall in love with players during recruiting, there will be yelling and screaming about the audacity the new coach has to send certain players packing. When fans fall in love with the number of stars next to a player’s name, they remain in love with that player even when he doesn’t produce squat.
Shane you are correct in a sense however the offense is still a problem, it’s just the lesser of the 3 evils and I think that’s what you’re intending get at. This year special teams is the bright spot. The OL is trash, the play calling is not good. Our game plan doesn’t appear to be good as Miami’s OC made it very clear we are easy to defend. There was never any killer instinct on offense under Billy. HBC wanted to score points and made it clear. Mullen was OC under Urb was great and we scored the same way. We could’ve beaten several more teams last year if we chose to have a different strategy on offense. I love running the football too but we can’t even do what Billy wanted to do with that!! Offense is still a problem it’s just the lesser of the problems.
You & Graham delivered some great insights and perspective this AM. Very realistic opinions, etc. There are multiple answers to why we’re where we are at. Plenty of people - university executives, uaa executives, coaches, staff, and players all share some responsibilities. I dislike all this conversation re: the ne t coach e season…..how demoralizing and disrespectful to the players foremost! Yet they did play efficiently offensively and on special teams, and yes the defense needs work. But I did not see the coaches or players throw in the towel. And Miss State is horrible, but give them credit for lining up and playing hard. There’s lots of balling left. Go Gators!
Defense scheme sucks …terrible defensive scheme for our personnel…if the defense was better the offense would look much better …the defense need a overhaul or to be completely changed
