I was in 6th grade when I first saw Motley Crue on MTV, Looks That Kill. Less than a week later I walked for what seemed miles to a record store and bought my first rock album. Shout at the Devil changed everything. Before that, music was just music, mostly on the radio top 40 type, some good tunes. Crue though, got me on a mission, to listen to as much rock as I can possibly handle. I just loved discovering rock bands, buying tapes strictly based on the album art, so many duds doing that, but some good finds too. Following Crue along the way, past high school, through their ups and downs. I was always envious of everyone at school that showed up in their Motley Crue Tour t-shirts the day after the shows. I never did catch a Crue show. Nevertheless the Crue years were the best years to grow up, no doubt about that.

And to think 1990 the ride was over. They tried to fit the music to the style of the day instead of just playing motley music. 2008 saints of Los Angeles prove they still had it. 2023: The Crue is still touring. They threw Mick out of the band and now he's suing them. Vince can't sing AT ALL anymore. It's sad. It's come out that they use a lot of backing tracks. Its all really unfortunate. I still love them.
That breaks my heart that Mick is no longer in it, I lost respect for them when they made a whole ordeal about never touring again and signing legal papers then years later ripping that up. Nikki stated he didn't want the band to "hobble into the sunset" but instead go out with a bang. Turns out they will be hobbling and failing before they finally quit playing.
I love how at the 20 minute point Vince says if all the guys said that if anything ever happens to one of us that would be the end of Motley Crue. Bullshit. They have played end of the road tours multiple times. All of them have aged beyond being what they once were. And Mick needs to call it a day so they send him sailing down the river taping him of his due monetary funds that he deserves. They sold the fuck out. Sad. I miss this era of the Crue. I hate the current era. Milli Va Nilly. Sad
