Read if you want more info in Brand New Dance and Antichrist When you said that the songs "Antichrist" and "Brand New Dance" sound like Eminem show well you right. Antichrist was originally made in 2003 , in 2012 he started fing whit it again for MMLP2 ( this is why second verse sounds mmlp2 and intro like 2003-ish), song didn't made it like the song "Don't Front" (don't front didn't make it cuz the sample was late). Brand New Dance was meant for Encore as 7th track named "Reeves" also voice is not AI its recorded in '04, only thing that is AI is the Kim John reference and the bridge deference, beat also didn't have the piano at ~1:50 mark. Also Stepping Stone (for kamikaze) is old beat too made in 2005 lyric are new tho. Castle was recorded in 2010 and finished in 2017 with Arose. Survival was written and recorded in 2012. there is finished version of song Beautiful from '06 (edit 6th album track list leaked so there you have more info) , witch in imo '06 has a lot better vocals than '09. (I didn’t listen to what he said yet)I think I want from Eminem to be inspired by something and make an album off his inspiration to drop a fourth classic like when you look back you can see where the amazing lyrics are coming from weather it was from the hate because his color or his mom or the bad responses from TV channels despite the fans loving the music and I guarantee you if he spent enough time inside his mind to look for something and find it he will drop an all timer project and I would suggest him to be influenced by his success he have to this point like an album of celebration and being happy and not caring anymore about anyone who thinks he isn’t great
I don’t think you should be reviewing rap albums. You do not know how or what to listen to in a rap song. For you to listen to Habits and talk about the beat and the hook shows how little you actually listen to rap. I’m willing to be that you would be like those people in the past who said Em’s album sucked and a few years later, you start calling it a classic. You do not have rap ears. You have Pop ears. You should focus on that genre of music.
He's been innovating without slim shady since recovery, his music quality dropped since then in my opinion. If he fully went back to Shady we'd have more tracks like Renaissance. I liked the album more than you did, but i disagree that slim shady is holding him back. It's him only giving us shady in drops rather than just going all out. That's what's makes the album some kind of middle ground.
