Interesting selection - some you played straight and others you added the vocal melody - I enojoyed the set, but I think I would have either played everything straight or everything with the vocal melody - I was dying to hear the bass walk up on While My Guitar Gently Weeps ~ it's my favorite part of playing it. There are so many songs... Michelle... And Your Bird Can sing... makes you appreciate the sophistication of songs that have more than 4 chords - overall nicely done :)
Excellent list… the Beatles melodies are so strong they sound great when played using simple chords when you’re starting out, then get better when you are able add all of the embellishments as your skill improves. The only songs I would definitely add is “In my life”, “Mother Natures Son”, “Dear Prudence” and of course, “Yesterday”.
Interesting choices and certainly included the main culprits.....might have considered In My Life, Yesterday, Mother Nature's Son, Rocky Racoon, And I Love Her, Julia, Till There Was You, Dear Prudence but then again you chose 10 and it is subjective......strange that you missed out the iconic opening intro for 'Two of Us' and I reckon that 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' sounds better with capo on 4 or 5 and played in Dm [and perhaps with drop D].....no criticisms here, only observations out of interest......your playing was first class
No doubt He is a good player, but if I could play like Him, I would sing along, I don't like the instrumental way, for people who like only play guitar, in the stage are always in the behind the group, and for the people who sing and play, have more chances to succeed in the group, I think !
