The American Pronunciation Guide (“APG”) is devoted to descriptive linguistics--i.e., the study of the internal phonological, grammatical, and semantic structures of languages without reference to the history of the language or comparison with other languages. Accordingly, we believe that the best way to learn how to pronounce a word is to listen to how our peers say it. To help foster such descriptive learning, APG publishes videos combining relevant clips from popular culture. We hope you enjoy!

JK Rowling is *not* "good literature". She is a bigoted racist reactionary boomer TERF that should be cancelled at every opportunity and should never share the same breath of speech as Tolkien.
