Not to over gush, but that’s a great price for a real fishing boat with a legendary hull. Perfect motor for that boat as well. Should approach 3 mpg at a nice cruising speed.
I cannot tell you how frustrated I am with what just happened on 2/14. Both verbally and via text messages I confirmed with DAN one of the salesman before driving three hours from the East Coast to see the boat, sea trial boat, and to ensure that I could pull it out with my truck. I asked, what do I need to do to confirm I can do this before driving three hours. He told me to make an offer. I made an offer. He told me that might not be enough but to come see the boat and to do a sea trial on the boat. I confirmed twice before driving that I was going to be able to sea trial the boat. He confirmed yes. I drove three hours to find out that he was not going to be there after texting him all morning. He never told me he was not going to be there to meet me. He told me to meet with Henry the owner. I got there and was told I was not going to be able to sea trial the boat until a price was agreed-upon. I again made the offer and was told that was not enough. I asked what was the counter offer and was told the owner does not want to counter. I should’ve been told this before driving three hours. I was ready to buy a boat today but now I have lost all faith and trust in this company and DAN the sales person. I’m going to do my best to find out who the actual owner is to let him know what kind of people he is dealing with. They’ve had the boat listed for sale for over one year. No wonder it has not sold with service Like this.
By the mid 90's, they were putting 305 V8, Chevy based MerCruiser motors in them. That's what mine had. Kind of dubious about that 23 pitch prop on this one. Mine with the V8 was only capable of spinning a 21 pitch.
I used to wire the electronics on Seacraft about 40 years ago in the Homestead Florida factory. I thought they went out of business. I’m glad to see this one. Good boat
The video was made well before the storm. I did not predict the weather. I meant "before it is sold." The boat was sold last week. And did not suffer any damage.
