That was great, it shows me what sort of ride my foxy dog will get. I'll just put her sheepskin rug in and practice her about late at night when the traffic has quietened. I see it can bounce so I'll be mindful.
Elliott hutton it's a brilliant little spot! North Leeds up past Allerton High School, and left into the Rugby Club and keep following the footpath behind the club until you get to a car park. Go through the car park and the entrance to the wood is opposite! I'll try get some sort of post code for you, they do have a Facebook page if you just search Adel Woods :)
Looks stable. Others I've seen have flopped from side to side. This one looks better than all the others in that regard. I wanted one to pull our small dog when we go on family rides. I bought a 2-wheeler in the end but wish I'd looked at this one in more detail now. Your rearward camera gave me precisely the view I wanted. Thanks.
@@alexhemingway8359 Well, years later and I bought one and it is every bit as stable as your video showed. But the really surprising thing is how light it is. No, the surprising thing is it's size. It is bigger in real life than I expected. Then, taking-in its actual size, when you pick it up it feels as light as paper mache. I have had 5 trailers over the years - two double width children's buggies, a single-wheel Tag-Along, and a small Trixie trailer for doggo (who hated it), but this Topeak Journey pulls far better than the others.
Do you run a standard 19T gearbox sprocket? Your engine sounds pretty relaxed on the open road. I've got a 1936 MOV, I'm getting a spare 22T gearbox sprocket which should make the gearing about the same as a standard rigid MAC.
Would that make the gearing close to standard? I have to wait a few weeks to get the new sprocket delivered from Austria to Australia. Testing my new brakes this weekend.
+Kit Lam haha yeah I was concerned but because it mounts on the axel and leans with the bike it doesn't actually put any extra strain on the frame than usual!
