Mainly Tekken related content but I dabble with other games. Combo enthusiast, Yoshimitsu main, Dragunov is my alt, but play quite a few characters. More of a practice mode junkie over anything. Enjoy finding new things, including; combos, tech, okizeme, max damage, staples etc. I like helping people, so hope this channel can primarily help other players, or even entertain and educate.
I also enjoy survival horror and all sorts of unrelated stuff, so might upload that kind of thing from time to time.
I hope you'll find the channel sub-worthy, and those who have already subbed will keep tuning in, I do appreciate it, thanks.
Twitter - I comment with old fart ramblings and rants, upload random bits and bobs, mainly Tekken stuff, some of the clips don't make it to my youtube.
Good to hear! Lol the rank is from playing the arcade quest. I'm Tekken King online but only played it for a week. Yeah. I've been around since T5 days lol. Thanks for watching.
It's very time-consuming, and there is a lot to consider outside of standard staples. We're also in a place where our options could change next patch. Especially since the Yoshi 'downplay' uproar. I'll consider it in the future, though, a please would be nice lol. Thanks for watching. For now, I'm sure there are other resources out there.
It's really strict. Pretty difficult. In the other video, it shows a version that doesn't require the microdash vs Bryan, so is a bit easier. Also no microdash vs Jack (easiest).
You have to get used to the window. When you can do it earliest. Don't microdash too much or it'll whiff. I'd say it's likely a real just frame. IDK if this helps.
@@ManjiNemesis I think I figured it out but I still can't realistically do it. A micro dash is a buffered forward input but there's no time to do it so it really does seem like a just frame. I did manage to land 2,2 instead of d+2,2,2 and it's way more consistent but I think the best combo is the 3,1 line. I also just figured how to land a flash before going 3,1 thanks to practicing the micro dash tech. So overall thanks for sharing, I learned something for sure.
Nice effort! Interesting. I'm glad it was beneficial to you, either way. It's a practice mode combo tbh, but it's good to have some sort of record of absolute max. Learning strict inputs in combos can make a difference for sure <3.
Pretty much lol. I do think we got off lightly though, even still. It could have been worse. It did annoy me though. Plenty of other, more crazy things haven't been addressed with other chars.
@@ManjiNemesis My point is that: If Tekken want to evict excessive flashes or excessive health recovery on combos, they would nerf the flash only during a combo, not penalizing the use of flash in traps and counters.
@rodrigoaraujo7323 I get you. They shouldn't have given one of the fastest moves in the game the spin mechanic, but they did. IDK what they expected to happen lol.
Yeah. The nerfs are overkill though, and include balance changes although they said bug fixes and unintended patches only. Also, there are bigger issues than Yoshi's flash still to be addressed.
I am actually failing to make it land on Bryan, is there any specific timing or micro-movements to take into account? Command history would have been useful Edit: also looks like this game is Vindictus according to RU-vid XD
Lol sorry. It's a pretty difficult combo. I did df2, then I sort of edged towards the foreground and forward, 1+4, d22~b, NSS1, f3+4, micro dash d222, T! 1+4, ff2:2. It doesn't require strict inputs and nets higher damage with Jack. BTd1 ender combos. Yeah. Hitboxes are funky in T8 for sure.
My personal favorite combo ender is any combo where you use heat burst in the combo and end it with NSS KIN f+2 heat dash u/b1+2. that u/b1+2 does so much damage due to it being scaled as a grounded hit. I get surprised every time I use it of how much damage that last hit does.
Yeah. NSS_ heat u/b1+2 is satisfying to use. I need to confirm it but from testing, I found that if you delay the u/b1+2 ender where it doesn't register as a combo. It guarantees 5 more damage and is inescapable.
@@ManjiNemesis That's the beauty of it. Lets say, at the end of that combo you did in the video, you decided to do a heat ender intead. Try this: Instead of using flash, Use "NSS f3+4, HeatBurst KIN f+2* (hold forward for dash, keep in mind, you are still in NSS at this point) u/b1+2" And witness the true beaty of this combo ender :P I haven't seen anyone else but me use this ender, So either it's terrible, or people are too busy doing flashloops. I tested this earlier today, my combo ender does more damage than doing the popular "Flash HeatBurst Flash f+1+2* (dash) u/b1+2". Atleast when I was testing it earlier. Maybe I'm missing something. Edit: I am not 100% sure the heatburst will hit after doing f+3+4 at 10 hits into a juggle combo.
@@ManjiNemesis I decided to try your combo but I can't seem to hit the tornado, are you doing some microdashes at some point? If so, that seem very strict :P
@Ram2rol You can do more damage and it's easier on Jack. No need for strict inputs and BTd1 hits after ff2:2. The combo I did was df2, then a slight delay, edging towards him and slightly to the foreground, 1+4, d22~b, NSS1, f3+4, microdash d222, S! 1+4, ff2:2.
