Next to Excision, fighting Riven is one of the most awesome feelings I’ve experienced in gaming. Pantheon made it feel more epic, and I’m so thankful it helped more players to experience Riven legit!
Pantheon made me really appreciate this banger. If the raid soundtracks were bad we'd never have gotten through 10 minutes of the LFG nightmare never mind the 3 weeks of it...but alas the traveller and marty provides.
we'd never thought we get a raid harder then this, last wish had 2 team clear it day one, one team cleared salvations edge in first 24 hours. last wish has finally be dethroned as the hardest raid

@@alfredoj9791 Pantheon is supposed to be a BOSS rush, and Verity doesnt have any boss in it, so we're safe from that. Then again, the Verity encounter is rather easy, just make sure all the guardians have recognizable drip and ghosts equipped.
Atraks 1 might be 2nd to riven you know.. i don't know why they didnt include that prelude when you're actually doing the raid. This raid as a whole is "beyond" a masterpiece. So glad i got to experience the best experience in a game when it was still fresh and people didn't know about 4 ball taniks 😂. Welcome home, Guardians
I love this mission. Its creepy. In a game about killing gods and making guns out if them you wouldn't think thered be something that actually creeps you out
Firing Marty and Michael has to go down as two of the worst decisions in bungie’s history. Halo wouldn’t be remembered anywhere as fondly as it is without marty, and Michael is the soul of destiny. Just pathetic man.

as much bad reviews can go for a bad destiny dlc the soundtrack never disappoints thats all ill say for lightfall loved strand the raid the ost and the weapons nimbus no.
Just played this raid for the first time yesterday (shout-out to Fibonacci, best D2 sherpa!) And was completely blown away by the music. We completed the Riven encounter the legit way and the sense of accomplishment from it was awesome. Even though it was really tricky to learn and execute, the music really kept me in it and intensified that feeling of synergy with my fireteam. Just wanted to share that appreciation.
Really wish this fight was never cheese-able. It would still stand top dog as the most complex and difficult raid boss Bungie has ever done. What a waste of effort putting in so many mechanics.
They really need to just buff her hp so you can’t cheese anymore. Legit riven for the one time I done it was an experience 90% of the player base has missed and she’s by far got the best designed boss fight in the game. Especially when I done it we were all just under levelled for riven so things actually hurt and we had to work together to stay alive especially in the big dps area when you meet up. Wells rifts using supers to kill the ogres etc. we even had to remember the eyes in our head as console didn’t even have a text chat back then. Along with the teamwork needed the dps check was also fairly difficult to reach but when we finally beat it felt so rewarding. Also I’m biased as that run which was also my first along with the rest of us I got 1k. Only out of the team so that just made the whole experience that much better
