I like it when he said "not everyone will make it in the music industry, some will shine some won't shine, some will make a fortune, some won't make a dime😢.its the nature of the music industry.
I think podcast host must get record label representatives before taking the story of the artist, because artists are always portrayed as victims and recorded labels as perpetrators
This one of the greatest podcast Dr Sipho Sithole has appeared on because it involves the financial and health life of an artist. We know of so many South African artists who has lost their life through drugs, arrogance and ridiculously showing off opulence. I wanted to be a music star but my own instinct told not to do it. I rather went to do more studies in music and my instrument, playing small gigs there and there but also continued to be known as a worker with a family. Now I live overseas doing the same thing. Never participating in the rat race of the life of a musicians who wants to be star because there are consequences. This is jus my little contribution. Thanks.
