Did exactly that.. Came back from a month long trip, i gained 5.5kg (12lbs).. went back to working long hours - no time for exercise. I stopped with sugared drinks (except for coffee) and stopped with takeouts, only eat home-cooked meals (did meal preps). Lost all the weight i gained in just a little over 6 weeks
Zero calorie sweetener and some cinnamon in your coffee is good 👍 im down to 216 from 250lbs by doing intermittent fasting(no set time just go until i feel like im starving 😂😂) and eating a huge protein packed meal then snack on fruit for dessert, sometimes eat protein oatmeal as a second meal. End up around 1600 calories at the end of the day while still getting in 100+ grams of protein!
Dont change your diet, meaning foods... Change your consumption. Stop eating like a pig; for the lack of better terminology. Your caloric intake is what you pay attention to.... carbs are a diabetics enemy, not sugar, insulin turns carbs into sugar, diabetes is a problem doing this. Calories are what puts the weight on the most. I weigh between 113 and 120lbs ... because i barely eat, and dont overconsume when i do eat. You dont change what you're eating, change how often you're eating it. And that's literally what a nutritionist will tell you, but these diets won't tell you because it ruins their goal. Your consumption rate is the problem, or you have health conditions that are possibly genetic that you were predisposed to from birth. What your eating is not the problem. I can eat everything you eat and can't put on weight at all unless i go a month plus straight eating 3 meals and multiple snacks and literally taking in 4× times the amount of calories i currently intake daily. Calories are where it's at.
But the types of food MATTER as well. If you're not exercising or working a manual type job, you absolutely need to reduce your carb intake. As well as sugar. You can't eat shitty foods, like HEAVILY processed box dinners, fast food and whatnot and expect to still drop weight. Just cutting sugary drinks out completely will cause you to drop weight without exercise. Same thing with the carbs. Carbs are a bodys primary food source. If you don't burn them off your body stores it by turning it to fat.
We went from working manual labor jobs all day to being sedentary for 8+ hrs at soul sucking jobs that dont pay for shit, with unlimited access to terrible food.... it's more than just calorie in- calorie out.
Hey Kimberly, just bumped on you and definitely can relate you not alone girl. There are times I just don't know what to post and get to overthink a lot. And at times demotivated when I don't see any progress. So this is a thing but told myself I'm not giving up I'll do it even when at times I have no idea what's what. I'm also a strong believer of being yourself on whatever way you feel like showing up so girl you look just fun to me. My coworker mom says she uses rubbing alcholol on it like once or twice a day. No idea if that's a good idea or if it works. I get canker sores instead😢
