I had a 14 pro for a month. I hated the Dynamic Island it’s too down the screen and it actually get in the way more than the notch of the 13 series. It pissed me off so much I sold it and got a 13 pro max. Maybe I should’ve got the 14 pro max as the bigger screen would’ve made it less annoying.
Keep in mind that with Macbook Pro's with 120HZ refresh rate displays you low power mode drop the screen to 60HZ to save power as well, thing that makes the laptop feel a lot laggy then without it on.
I think they should do Dynamic Island for other iPhones. In a sense, the Island on iPhone 14 isn't really different than the previous ones. So it would be like a copy/paste with a few adjustments, and it would be fire !
But now on iPhones that don’t have the Dynamic Island will a similar or maybe exactly like feature on the Lock Screen at the bottom above the two buttons that allow you to do the same actions after you example started a voice recording and then go to the Lock Screen to stop the recording.
