Yes, it's going into regular drywall. I used #8×1-1/2" Black Truss Head Wood Screws (Amazon) and I haven't had any issues. I wanted a more decorative screw but honestly a standard drywall screw would have worked well (or even better because of the fact that drywall screws are specifically used for drywall). The screws hold the panels nicely. I followed the recommendations of the manufacturer in terms of screw spacing and placement.
According to their website, the other method is to use construction glue (like liquid nails) and literally stick it to the wall. This obviously means it's permanent and couldn't be removed without destroying the panels or drywall. The screws hold the panels close to the wall and I've had no issues at all.
@StevenLanham Hmm... My wall is concrete. So I guess the worst that can happen is that it will peel the paint off. Imagine all those screw holes in a concrete wall. The other option I have is to make a wooden/sheetrock frame against my wall and then add those slats to the wall.
Glad you went the prefab route; it definitely looks great with the layout you designed. The shelves take it to another level! Can't wait to see what the space looks like once you've set it up 🙌🏽
FYI, in this video he uses expanding foam on a door jam NOT meant for windows/doors. Do not use this type of gap filler foam, it can expand so much that it can affect your door jam and cause bowing/move things out of square/make the jam too tight. Great Stuff makes a specific one for windows/doors that does not exert as much pressure when expanding.
I'll admit, I was nervous when I read your comment but I just replaced the doors and everything seems to functioning with no problem. It makes perfect sense that expanding foam could cause bowing so maybe I dodged a bullet. Phew@@altkev

The woodbridge instructions show dropping the floor bolts into the tri-foot stabilizer. Your installation was perfectly according to the written instructions. Perhaps a better alternative is to unscrew the nuts, place the floor bolts into the tri-foot stabilizer and connect the nuts finger tight. Then, place the assembly with the bolts attached into the holes you have already drilled into the floor. The problem requiring a deep socket wrench would have been avoided and the entire assembly could be removed in the future while leaving the bolts in the floor. Thank you for the excellent video. Please share your opinion of my suggestion so others may understand the conditions.
At the beginning of your video, those are called wire ferrules and are great in those phoenix connectors. Many of us in the synchronized lights hobby use these connectors on our boards.
The company is called Virtuapin. They sell a range of packages. In addition to the cabinet, I also got the pack with the legs and other crucial parts. Highly recommend, but they have a long waiting list so if you're thinking about doing it, order as soon as you can. Good luck.
