It will group better than I can shoot. I have not performed any sort of bench rest group, but at 25 yrds, I see no reason why a 1"-2" grouping would be unrealistic.
Thanks! I enjoy running the 'not regular' guns.... hurts my USPSA score in the long run as these guns were not made for competition. I have another video running this B&T USW-A!... search on "USPSA Space Coast Oct 3, 2020 - B&T USW-A1"
@@MrMravery I'm the same way. I usually prefer running guns I would actually carry, rather than competition-optimized options. I just made M in CO, so I'm going to see if I can make M in PCC with a Glock 19 in a Recover 2020 chassis.
The warning come in all TUV (EU) market firearms. They are required in English and market language. B&T probably didn't know they weren't needed in the US.
Nope. Matter of fact, I use the MP5SD in competitions. Now I have heard of cases where there are baffle strikes because there are issues with the TPM can, however, I have not had any issues.
I love the APX. I have 3. But my A1 is kind of a love/hate. But it's my fault. I made the mistake of confusing some of the A0 and A1 parts. Many are compatible. But the sights are not. I put A0 sights on my A1. Ruined it. Now getting the right sights to upgrade. Mine is also finicky with a red dot. Needed a lighter guide rod spring. Still love them. I recommend an A0 over the A1 if you can get over the funky serrations.
I never messed with the A1 sights, just added a red dot (Holosun) and never looked back. I have had no issues with cycling with the optic. Surprised you has issues with the optic installed. Perhaps you are shooting low power ammo? Have you tried other brands and weights?
@@MrMravery It's just the A1. The other 2 are flawless. But I wanted co-witness sights with the red dot. I come to find that sights from the A0 to the A1 are slightly different. I'm trying a lighted guide rod spring. It should solve it.
It's 'strange' but it does grow on you. It's a duty gun for sure and it's not even close to a competition trigger, but after a few hundred rounds, it smooths out.
So, I'll answer but it won't really be an answer. The USW is a beast all by itself as it's an SBR. The MKII is an excellent pistol and an upgrade from the Sphinx with the threaded barrel and the cut for an optic. The Sphinx overall fit and finish is significantly better than the other two. So, what is 'better' would need to be determined by the specific use.
I have to agree with you. I have the APX A1 and I have a Sar9x Platinum and they both shoot better than my CZ P10c and my Glock 43x. They are both comparable to my Caniks as far as accuracy and shoot ability. I love them both and they are very underrated in my opinion. I'm not a Glock guy either. I'm a fan of getting the most for my hard earned money and although Glocks are very reliable ,which is why I carry the 43x as my edc, you have to change way too much on them to make them perform how you really want. Thats not the case with this pistol. My only issue with this gun is the optic plate screws. I have one that's stripped and that seems to be a major issue with this model so I'll have to get a gunsmith to get that screw out so I can add my red dot. Othet than that this pistol is pretty awesome especially for the price. Also the breakdown takes a little time to get used to but it's still a great gun.
Might want to reach out to Beretta and see if they will take care of that for you (I bet they would). I have seen that mentioned before as an issue. For mine, I didn't have any problems removing it.
Excellent close up up comparisons of truly unique handguns. KRISS SPHINX SDP, B&T MKII, and PHOENIX FUSION in different variants. Wonder if any significant changes were done to the interior? PEACE
There should be two large recessed 'holes' on the slide that those big circles fit into once you remove the 'blank' plate that ships installed on the pistol.
Ive seen a few people struggle tearing down the APX. They tend to pull back on the slide before pressing in the take down button which is not necessary.
@@MrMravery well i already have a 762 jack and a 556. i just want another one because its so nice. i wont use it really. i also have two parts kits being done. one polish one tula.
So, is it possible to swap the slide from the MK2 onto the Sphinx and using the Sphinx barrel and spring? I carry my Sphinx but am interested in the possibility of adding the ability to carry an optic on it.
Possibly but I'll use my 'do at your own risk' disclaimer. Perhaps reach out to B&T to get their take. They may say 'yes it will fit' however they will state they accept no responsibility. But if you get the B&T just for the slide, why don't you just carry the MKII instead of the Sphinx?
I went with the Holosun 508T. It's the same footprint as the Trijicon and Beretta sells the plate for $25ish. I'll have a follow-up video soon showing the optic and the light I added.
Yes, I'm shooting group with the jack in my backyard here 5 days a week and this thing groups very tight at 100 yards. I've got 6 zastava zpap mags, I tried 2 ans they are too tight to fit. Bulgarian steel works fine but is loose. Us palm mag fits and feeds find but they always feed lowest from the feed ramp so I don't use it. I have 6 circle 10 mags, they fit great and feed perfect and feed from higher in the chamber, so I just use those.
Nice review. I've bought tons of stuff from Tacticon and was more than pleased with everything except this cheap gun magnet with tape that held it place for about one minute. I couldn't use the screw either because of the location. I ended up finding another use for the magnet. Besides that, great products and great prices.
Nice testing vid with different ammo in the AC Unity mags....they seem to run pretty good....I got a 30rd and a 40rd AC Unity mag shot 150rds through them had 1 failure with the 40rd mag may have been the ammo I've it for awhile.....seem to be good mags so far real tight fit going in and coming out but that ok with me least I know they won't fall out lol kool vid bro 👍🏼🇺🇲
i bought my Jack without the scope rail, put the proper handle on it. matches the wood. purchased a polish surplus slant brake. finish matches. very happy.
You really inspired me to find local events on practiscore and give it an honest shot. Running the apc9 & dpp for PCC and a zev & rmr09 for CO. Bone stock apc9 keeps chugging away. Loves 147's and the wolfman in K config. Maybe 3k rounds, some finish wear on the bolt and trilug but that's it. Great gun, great review.
That's awesome, I'm glad you stepped into the competitive shooting sport. It's a whole different experience! APC9 is a great gun and mine also loves the 147s.
2016 bought it for $350. Gun never fired brand new. 2wks later attempted to return it, got jerked around by one of the owners’ who insisted they wanted to deal with me directly and not the place I bought the gun from. The place I bought it from they were awesome guys, they apologized saying the guys that import the guns refused to deal with them and wanted to talk to me (customer) directly. When I talked to the guys that import the guns they wanted $120 to fix the gun plus shipping cost! The thumb safety lock is added so it can be sold here in America, and that’s where the fault is. Two guys import them from Turkey and they are sold all over. After a month at the place I bought the gun from (no success) I took it to well know gun smith who promised me he can handle my case on warranty work. Well after a month he gave up too and returned it to me with no charge. They told me to never buy this gun again, and added they have been in business for over 100yrs and never seen such a thing. When the safety lock (only for America imported guns otherwise they don’t usually have thumb safety lock) is engaged and you rack the gun then pull the trigger, you just broke the gun voided the warranty. (It’s in the gun manual that the gun importer made me read and pretty much said nothing he can do with warranty but I have to pay up). Such a piece of shit for a gun. First non American gun purchase, last non American purchase. I have other guns that I can engage safety lock, rack them, pull trigger and nothing happens but gun does not break. Read the section that says will void the warranty and see how fragile this gun is.
