Matt Lemmler is considered to be one of the most original musicians (piano, vocal, arranger, composer, educator, producer) to recently emerge from the birthplace of jazz. Raised just blocks away from the home of legendary New Orleans pianist/vocalist Fats Domino, Matt remembers a childhood in the Lower 9th Ward where music constantly filled the house.
What are the best people in the world my grandfather had the same shirt as him and he talked just like am I miss him my grandfather was the best guy in the whole wide world in the world war I and world war II you used to talk on the CB radio with me and we used to bump it down with 766 I had a King Kong gorilla amplifier I was running a lot of power probably about 2,000 watts and when I would kick it it would it would sound like somebody shut the door of a microwave and the neat thing is all the fans would come on it would sound like a furnace running and then when I unheated it shut off I missed that tube type amp I had somebody get mad at me take the whole amplifier and smashed it on the floor she took all my radio gear smashed it all over the ground and all I said is she are you happy yet keep on smashing it if it makes you happy I've actually worked hard for my antenna set up down here in Virginia I'm talking all cross-country when the conditions get better I put my antenna up on myself and my nicest next door neighbor just like him and cares about people he took my in town and put it all back together and I appreciate him there's not that many people like him anymore and I had that song playing the other day and he sing the whole song
