Tale of Fantasy is an Epic Music Choir and Symphony Orchestra based in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, delving into the Epic Music genre found in video games, movies, tv series and trailers.
The compositions are arranged and orchestrated by our own musicians. We also collaborate with composers worldwide by offering the possibility of performing their works.
On our RU-vid channel, you’ll find concerts from our repertoire and our music video productions.
This is a difficult piece to master, especially since this orchestra contains less members than the choir (individual uniqueness of the performer is more easily discovered). The sound might be affected by the recording equipment or the placement of the microphones, but some pieces and sounds are more muted and somehow a little darker than what is experienced in the hall. That said, i wish the men and women in the choir would be less afraid of working with the higher volume in this song. It brings a lot of emotions into the piece when the choir brakes the gloomy feeling and sorrow by giving it an edge it did not have before. Either way, good job.
Deep male hums to start then the high pitched female vocals...lol. Yeah, it's a nice twist to the original, but missed the mark heavily. It's not even a matter of microphone pickup, 2/3rds of your chorus is female. Completely overpowers the intended version of this song, and it shows.
Can you develop ? How does the sound does not sound good ? Are you a singer yourself ? Or a sound engineer ? What part of the performance could be better ? I think it's pretty awesome.

Great idea and project, however recording mix and mastering could be a little bit better. Sometime choir is too loud and there is too much sopranos, percussion could be also a little bit louder. Too bad that flutes in 4:04 phrase are barely audible. Anyway - good job!
We had indeed. It is some kind of made up Latin, like it often is in film and video game OST. I don't think it really means something but it's about glory, battle and stuff.
