I started this channel back in 2016 to document our kid's adventures and sports. Both of our kids played inline hockey and I started documenting their roller hockey journeys. Our son stopped playing when he was 12, but our daughter Chanel who is currently 16 had carried on as an inline hockey goalie. She is loving inline hockey in New Zealand and I have loved following her journey. Chanel is 16U hockey goalie for Panthers Inline Hockey Club. We attend just about every tournament possible in New Zealand and we love being involved in the sport. I used to record every tournament game she played but now I tend to stick to the important games, usually tournament hockey finals and hockey exhibition games. I have also extended to sports videography of other important games where she is not playing.
If you love inline hockey or in America they call it roller hockey, we would love to connect.
@@hansfordsmuml I understand, but if the offending player hits from behind, causing the opponent to fall, checking from behind should not have been penalized.?
Thanks for watching. The Black team Penguins were National champions for just over 10 years and just got knocked out by Mt Wellington Panthers last year. But they are still amazing and are playing at Narch Nationals right now and doing really well. I think they are in semifinals
Need to change the rules a bit to make it more intense. The constant resetting slows it down too much to be consumed. Once over the resline you shouldn't be allowed to bring it back over unless change of posession.
Looks like they both went to play the body the same way. Only one guy was strong enough to do it properly. The rules seem to always favor the weaker player.
Rule 603 | Boarding (Note) Boarding is the action where a player pushes, trips or body checks an opponent causing them to go dangerously into the boards. This includes: Accelerating through the check to a player who is in a vulnerable or defenseless position and driving an opponent excessively into the boards with no focus on or intent to play the puck,
Wasn't exactly a vulnerable or defenseless position tho was it? He was already up against the boards. The vulnerable position would be two feet out and being hit in such a way that they could go falling into the boards in a dangerous way that could cause injury. Such as hitting their head or causing a neck injury.
@@hansfordsmum that’s cool this is my 4 th year riding but she will be older than me because i. Am only 9 i know because i see her at Sonshine sometimes
I don’t look at the score sheets but my guess is because Drew was the last one to touch the puck. You would have gotten an assist and Drew would have been awarded the goal. Either way it was great team work
@@hansfordsmum Torataro hockey was 6 years old . Stop making excuses for not so good players mum.Nobody said they were NHL players or adults...but ive seen many young kids pass pucks Please check TORATARO HOCKEY it teaches kids all hockey skills. Especially passing the puck.
@@hansfordsmum i like it. i will be 60 next year and have switched from ice to inline as it is easier on the knees. obviously not at this pace --- but glad to see it is getting popular, here in canada, not so much. ice hockey here is 24/7/365
What a small world this is! I'm seen at 0:32 behind the footpath standing in a blue jacket and red Santa hat. It was my first time seeing Shelley’s display and a great display it was!
@@hansfordsmum It has left awesome memories and Shelley has made a great impact on the NZ lighting community. The good news is those lights have gone to other displays to dazzle more people 🙂.
