This is such a great idea. What a cool and fun activity to have with your kids too. There's so many ways to make this a little more fun and exciting by having a little competition with the kids to see who can spot the most birds, fastest to spot the birds, who can spot the rarest bird, who can name the species of birds etc. It's also a really great way to encourage kids to care about the other animals we share this planet with.
