Does the bottom of the clamp interefere at all when you go full tuck on a race type bike by hitting the tank? I dont want to use a 3M chin mount like you said on my nice helmet but I want to film POV shots sometimes on road /track
Thank you for the video! Would you keep your motorcycle fully lifted on your Abba stand for the entire duration of a Winter? I live in Chicago, I would assume in my case, plan to keep my 2023 CB1000R lifted for say October through April of the following year...
I haven't keep mine lifted mainly because I'm constantly moving bikes around. I don't see a reason why you couldn't keep it lifted, it would stop flat spots on the tires
Hi. I like your video, but i have one question. When you are on the back of the bike, looks like the plate number bracket its going to cover the Z LED factory brake light. Is that correct? or? We cant see it from that angle. Thanks for the video btw! 😊
I'm wearing them right now. Definitely NOT SINGLE LAYER, as advertised. Pointless sweaty Polyester mesh that feels like it will rip the first time i remove them. Size 34", which fits loose. Belt required. Normally I wear a aize 30"-32" depending on brand. So thats...good? For this much money, they should be the size on the tag. It's a standard unit of measurement, and not open to interpretation. At least the legs aren't too tight like John Doe pants. Too much trouble to send back, but I cant say I'm truly satisfied. The front pockets are too small and barely fit today's huge phones. The back pockets are huge, and don't do the backside any favors by going halfway down my hips. The zipper pocket is also small and pointless. Cargo pockets would have made more sense. I was hoping these would be perfect summer riding pants. Apparently quality isn't available at any price.
My 14 warned me like this. I ordered a dampener but raced it again before it came in. Coming out of a power wheelie it did it violently and it put me on the sticky track barrel rolling…
I have worn them in heavy rain and they did soak through, the water repellency is not great, better than nothing but if I knew there was a chance of rain I would probably carry a pair of lightweight over pants
He mate, thanks for properly showing how to fit the bag and what features it has! The only thing I would like to add that at the end of the video you show how to open the bag. But it looks like you didn't roll the top 2/3 times before securing it with the buckles. That will give the bag the 100% waterproof. Greetings from the Netherlands
does it restrict arm movement like other motorcycle gear ? i'm looking at this for electric unicycle riding, so i'd prefer to have freedom in arm movement, and probably the motorcycle when/if i get my license.
I purchased the Knox Urbane Pro Mk3 in July 2023. I’m a weekend warrior and I’ve put less than 40 hours of use on my jacket when the cuffs began to fray. I wrote the company directly as well as sending photos, to which they responded , that the frayed cuffs were a result of repeated abrasion from gloves, or likely wear from the Velcro closure on gloves. They said that they would not replace the jacket or refund my money. I was disappointed to say the least, particularly when “abrasion resistance“ is the company’s advertisement lead. Clearly, the material used at the cuffs is flimsy at best, and inconsistent with the durability of the rest of the jacket. I pride myself on taking meticulous care of my equipment, and for the company to suggest that the use of gloves on a motorcycle jacket caused this premature wear and damage is ridiculous and outrageous. These companies have a captive audience as well as regulatory capture to inflate their prices, and to advertise an abrasion resistant armored shirt that is now literally falling apart at the seams after less than 40 hours of use is shameful.
I reading your comment I checked my jacket and I don't have that problem, maybe because I don't use the thumb loops and I don't use the same gloves (I alternate through Dianese, Knox and Alpinestars) Either way it's not good customer support. It does alter my perspective of the company.
When accelerating and twitch begins, backing off abruptly can turn into tank slappers. When decelerating youll encounter the same harmonic. Not an expert, my Yoshimura GSX-R 750 only does 160 on the Nippon Denso speedometer ( which translates to 150 REAL mph) ..got it geared for the longest straight at the track i used to frequent, St. Louis international. MCRA endurance RR. Many moons ago! Be safe OR go fast, dont die!
@@sneakypurpleninja I ride a little RC390 now. It's a 100mph corner scalpel but keeps me out of the old " life begins at 130 crowd." Keep that sneaky Ninja 🥷 right side up! 👍
Absolutely crazy the ZH2 doesnt come with a steering damper. I didnt know that was a thing anymore since every fast machine, be it the zx6r or zx10r, has one. With the gearing + the Zh2 engine the front must be constantly in air or at least very light. How did they not feel the need to put a steering damper into something like that.
A friend of mine just bought the 40th anniversary zx6r ninja 636 and it didn't come with a steering damper. He gets a lot of shake with it compared to his zx4rr. Kawasaki sells a damper for the zx6r for $600.
@@anagennao Thats even crazier. Youre right i just checked and they dont come stock with them anymore! I have a 2015 zx10r and assumed they still have them considering prior to 2020 they all had them as stock since like 2011! Now the new zx10 costs like 10k more and doesnt even come with a steering damper...
Hell, I had a Honda 250cc bike years ago and put a steering head damper on it to reduce the incessant 'wiggling' that smaller bikes tend to do noticeably--and pretty much continuously regardless of tires, road condition etc. No idea why ANY road motorcycle wouldn't have a steering damper.
Hey! How are you? Would it be ok to feature your clip in a video we're making? You'll be credited with a on-screen watermark and in the description/pinned comment. Do you mind explaining what happened?
I just started with getting my license and what astonishes me is that you guys can "comfortably" drive so fast without having the feeling of losing control of the bike. I drove today on the highway with 75 miles and it felt as if I would fly away if I'd let go of the handlebars :) Very impressive speed tho!
damn, naked bike buffeting really makes you appreciate how violent the forces are at that kind of speed 😅 glad it was just a single wobble and didnt snowball into something worse!
I own a ZH2 as well and the problem went away once I got the suspension adjusted to my weight and liking. I recently added a HyperPro steering damper as well just to be extra safe. Following these 2 changes I've had zero issues and I am talking about fast road riding and track days on fast circuits.
I fitted one of these ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--Nsx3sBeEN0.html and I have played with the suspension, so far I seem to have good results. Thanks
Whats your chest measurement? I'm trying to order one but don't know what size to go with. My size is around 44.5 inches, base on the chart I fall under XL, Should I up to 2XL?
@@steve166h The damper kit from Brocks uses their own bracket, I don't know of anyone else doing a specific fit for the ZH2, I would contact Brocks directly and ask if they are getting them back in, their customer service is pretty good
Thanks for that demonstration. The ABBA stand looks ideal for the job, at 240kg the H2 is no light weight. I am thinking about pulling the trigger on an H2 but a bit concerned about the weight when pushing it around the garage! Are you happy with your H2 so far?
