Never played this version of it but judging by the way, it looks, it’s got a mix of halo Metroid Prime and the original doom series all in one it’s pretty cool
Speechless! This generation may have countless problems, indeed. Entertainment, however, is far beyond to be one of them! As a Sonic fan, I feel honored with this game in every inch of it: playability, graphics, the engine, the boss fights (plenty of Sonic games fail epically at it!), anyway! One million THANKS, my friends!
Fellas, I did come back in time now and I got to live some traumatizing memories again with this game! LOL! But seriously; what it was and what it became in terms of playability, challenges, engine... WOW! I hope it's easier to control in comparison to what I had in the past! Congrats, gamers! You rock!
Thanks man. When I did this playthrough, it wasn't intended to be a perfect run or anything like that. I've always come back to Sonic 3 and Knuckles many times over the last 30 years as it's probably in my top 5 favourite games of all time. So with all that experience, I've practically memorised the entire game and it only dawned on me at the end of the playthrough that this was the best playthrough I've ever done of Sonic 3 and K.
Agreed. When I first played this in 2016, it blew me away how buttery smooth in quality that the game was. Also pushing a solid 60 FPS despite the game being so fast paced with countless demons on screen.
I did! I think they did a sterling job considering the game was developed from scratch in only 9 months. Jon Burton had just come off the back of Toy Story and Mickey Mania when Sega approached them for the project. While I think the game.....probably shouldn't have been made in 3D (at least until the hardware was fully capable), the game does offer something different. It's underrated in my opinion.
Oh absolutely it has flaws but I still think it's an achievement they made the entire project from scratch in 8 months and then the Saturn version was ported and produced successfully from Genesis in 6 weeks. It hasn't aged as well as the 2D classics of course but it's still a decent game.
When I first played Sonic 3, I did find the special stages difficult but once you have played them enough, you can get them down better than all the other special stages in any of the other Sonic games I find. Like with everything, practice.
A software called mednafen. Really good one as it's emulates Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast.....the list goes on. Have a look on Google. Make sure if you use it, download the BIOS on the Wiki page. This contains files that you need for it to run depending on which version you use (US, Japanese) etc.
@@hotfuzzpooleygaming9232 Hey, wait a sec! In the Metal Sonic battle (at the very least the first one)--is that the song "Look Alike" from the Sonic OVA?! Wow! Whoever made this game REALLY put in some nostalgia!
