I have a full bubble tip anemone tank on this schedule under 1 AI Prime. Peak par is 175 with AI Prime. Recommendations are all over the board for bubble tip anemones up into the 200 range. This program should work great as I currently have it supporting BTAs.
Question for you . I recently got an eheim 4+ pro 600 that i plan on putting on a 40ish galon tank. Still planning it out atm. But im curious how youd recommend setting up the baskets in it. I dont plan on getting a skimmer for a bit as costs are so high to start
Hello Would this be a good lighting settings/schedule for my tank, which is 28inches x 18 inches x 18 inches ? Have got one ai prime 16 hd, placed 11 inches off the water. Having bubble tip anemones, zoa and mushrooms. Thank you?
I feed them twice a week. Polyp Booster to the water column, reef roids direct feed, and phytoplankton to the water column. In addition, they get Kent Coral-Vite weekly to the water column.
Hello Salty Would this preset be good for my tank ? My tank is 28 inches x 18 inches x 18 inches with one ai prime 16 hd placed 11 inches off the water. Tank has bubble tip anemones , mushrooms, and zoa. Tank you. @saltypops4276
@@coolguy1995able hello. Yes sir this will work great. The bubble tip anemone tank video I have is a 15 gallon fluval flex with 1 ai prime with no modifications to the schedule and they are doing awesome!
Hello. 2 AI Prime 16 HD can work on a 75 as long as you do coral placement properly. You are pushing them to max coverage, so keep in mind that the edges and center of your tank will be lower par than the areas directly under the light. So your light hungry coral should not be placed in the center of the tank.
Great video very informative! I have had many giant eels and have a very large dark moray atm only thing I’ll disagree on is the cleaner shrimps I think 99.9 % if you have a cleaner or fire added before they will not eat even the tess. I have added fire shrimps after I’ve had eels months after and had no issues the eels always recognize them and use their cleaner abilities for their own
Hello. You can get the schedule a few ways: 1. You can message me on Facebook. 2. I have it saved in the files section of the FaceBook group AI Prime/Hydra Reef Group. It is called Salty Pops. 3. Send me your email address and I’ll email it to you. 4. Manually create in just 8 setting points.

Good idea using the egg crate for fish guard, ive used the very expensive D&D fish guard, wish I had of thought of using egg crate instead haha do you have a link where i can purchase some big enough for 47” long please?
@@nanoman81really depends on what you want to have in it. But the easy answer is no, there is no need to reduce the settings. My Fluval Flex 15g runs a 16 HD with the exact same program and intensity.
Flow is 100% of the determining factor for me. All my anemones are either bubble tip or stringy depending on how close they move to the power heads. All same lighting conditions. Too much flow is stringy and less flow is bubbles tip
Hello. It is a green with pink tips bubble tip anemone. It is in a fluval flex 15 gallon and for lighting I have a single AI Prime 16 HD running my custom made Salty Pops light schedule.
I have run my 120 litre softie and leather coral tank with a canister filter for the last 3 years. I don't have a sump and I'm running it with a protein skimmer and cheap chinese lights. Corals are growing like crazy and fish are happy. People are complicating everything with some of their set up's.

I've had a pair of clowns hosting in my GBTA and it's generations of clones for 20 plus years and I seldom see mine bubble up. Interesting video though and who knows maybe I'll warm up the tank a little.
Thinking about pick up pair of the lights for a 75 gallon reef tank. How are yours working out? Are they still working and is the corals growing strong? Any information is greatly appreciated.
Hello. Corals are happy and healthy. However, growth rate is no where near the growth rate of other lights I have ran. So ultimately, my opinion is they are good lights at a great price, but if quick growth is what you want, these lights haven’t proved to do that in my tank.
How do you have your start time be a certain % at a certain time then turn off at 6:00 because i want a 12 hour schedule from 7:30 am to 6:00 I’m struggling because im new at this I need help
Hello. If you are using my program, once you download it, you can simply put 2 fingers on the screen and slide it left and right to the start time you want. If you are building from scratch, put the line on the time you want and click the +

Do you need to set the spectrum for the ramp times, im confused with this setting. I thought if you selected a ramp time it automatically sets the spectrum? Thanks aquarium
Hello. There are a couple ways to do it. One is to use the ramp time setting, I did not use that. I built the ramp times into the schedule. You may alter the schedule and you the ramp setting or just run as is without using that setting.
Thank's for the video My light never shuts off at the selected sunset time. It stays in blue mode all night. Any idea what i may be doing wrong, thanks for your help
The tank dimensions will come into play a bit, but would recommend Fluval 207 or similar GPH. The 207 pump is rated at 206 GPH, with actual around 100-120 depending on your setup.
Hello. If you want to create a ramp. Simply put a time marker and all values at 0. Then an hour later put a time marker and put the value you want it to be. The program will create a slow ramp for you. If you want to use my program, you can get the schedule a few ways: 1. You can message me on Facebook. 2. Best video ever! I am starting a frag tank with all my highend zoas and shrooms and scares the hell out of me to put such highend corals in a newly cycled tank! This never crossed my mind! Probably a good idea to add little by little as well! I am going to be using rubble on mushroom side or some large rock chucks(after I saw your yumea video with all the babies LOL) since I dont have sand could I still go through the ugly stage? Diatoms, hair algae ect? You make great videos so If you havnt already you should make one on starting a frag tank! Ihave a question. Ihave been picking up a lot of high end acans mostly as well. My initial plans were to pur zoas and shrooms together. Is it ok to add other corals to or do mushrooms and zoas produce toxins that might not be good fo rother corals. Also thinking of adding a damsel to frag tank. Should I add a fish after its cycled if so whats a good choice for a 20 g long with no lid!
Hello. You can still go through the ugly phase without sand. Hair algae and etc will grow on your racks, rock, rubble, etc. not having sand will not prevent this unfortunately. You can have zoas and shrooms together with other corals as long as you understand that when you frag you should rinse / dip in tank water before going back in the system to remove some of the toxins and slime. Also, keep in mind quantity you are cutting. Don’t cut a large amount at 1 time, as 20 gallons is not a ton of water to disperse the slime into. I would also recommend running carbon after any cut to help absorb and released toxins. As for fish, I would recommend putting in a reef safe fish or 2. Damsel would work fine.
Awesome job! Can you cut these to speed along. I have successfully cut my magic carpet but last time I killed a 3 inch one! I think It was splitting so I should have left it alone. Is it ok to trim some of the less colored up areas of magic carpet or can you only cut at the mouth? When the big mom died it had all the bright colors on it and some of the babies are very colorful on the edges and I have people wanting to buy some babies but dont fell comfortable selling less then perfectly colored ones and I hate to just buy a new one and cant even find one as brightly colored as the mom that died!
Gret Video! Lots of questions! I have a HUGE orange purple yuma I have had for years and never had a baby! It just gets bigger. Why? never seems to move either. Its attached to a good size rock. I had a king kong stayed small for years but one day i looked under it on the plug and there were babys attached to the sides and bottoms of plugs! It was only about an inch !/2 big where as my other one is about 4 inches with no babies ever! I am staring a mushroom and zoa frag tank. is that a good idea being together. They are all high end pieces! I was told to just put rubble on the bottom where mushrooms are going. Should I not or should I also put some large rocks? I plan to put a few highend disocs like iterstellars, stripper lips and goodzillas, jaw breakers. maybe my cheaper yumas. fireshroom aka magic carpets, jawbreakers and og and some bounce Rhodactis. og, frankensteins, godspawns, powerballs Juggernaut ect. Will they sting each other? Should I try to keep them separate into different sections?. My goal is to propagate them all! How do I get them to move around especially if they are attached? I also thought they liked low light. is that only Yumas? They wiil be in a 20 l only 12 inches deep! Appreciate any advice! How much par do you consider high light
place in higher flow then it will move away and leave pups behind it. my rose ric yuma just produced its first pup after 9 months which is bright green and yellow
