I struggled to disassemble the pump at first and got frustrated and nervous. Thanks to your instructions, it became a piece of cake. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the video! I recently replaced my Bosch dishwasher sump due to leaks and E15 error code. Since then my bottom rack has not cleaned properly. I checked today for wash arm movement. It appears my upper rack arm is moving (spinning) but my lower arm is not. With only this information, do you have a suggestion on where to look for issues? Thank you.
Did this myself and now running a 70C test cycle with flashlight just to be sure. Seems everything is in order. New OEM part cost €109. A repairman would take the first 50 just to start the van...
Thank you for this video. I have a 2 year old Bosch 300 series. I do clean the filter regularly, but I don’t pre rinse my dishes. Last night the dishwasher was smelly and had a rhythmic whirring sound, but seemed to work. I took everything apart and cleaned the (dirty) filter and cleaned the impeller. It seems a bit better now after cleaning, but still noticeable louder than it used to be. Does that sound like a clogged pump? I would appreciate your opinion before going that next step.
Thanks a lot - have no technical knowledge, but this video encouraged us to change the heat pump ourselves rather than buying a new dishwasher (repair quote was excess of equivalent of USD 600)
Was that simple to do, only the 2 bolts thathold the casing together and slip the new heating element into place? Did you have to apple some hermetic seal compound at the junction points?
תרגום טקסט באמצעות המצלמה Hi, I have a Siemens dishwasher model se55a590, the body heats up a little but not enough and it gets stuck on 001 and continues until I reset the dishwasher, the dishes don't come out completely clean. Could this be a heat pump problem? Thank you for your quick reply Benny
Hi there, thank you for your video. I fixed it like u did, the sound is gone and it washes but a new code pops on at the end of the cycle E:61-03 and the tap sign. The hose drainage is clean and straitened but still does not drain all the water out ?! many thanks
Thank you very much for the excellent video. It was an easy DIY, thanks to your excellent instructions. Bought the heat pump from Amazon for $96. Removing the gray cable is very easy if you pull out the pump a little first.
@@therepairguy4443 you are right. I opened the pump and I saw the heater system. And yes, it is damaged... I'm gonna try fix the heater, soldering the lines! T hank you very much!
Where is everyone purchasing the replacement Bosch 00753351 Dishwasher Heat Pump? Pricing varies so much on all of the appliance parts sites, but says that they're all genuine Bosch parts. Thanks!
@@therepairguy4443 Unfortunately there is nothing on the door and to be able to access it i need to drag it out completely. I was able to find the part number above based on how it looks. I had the impression that both neff and Bosch heat pumps were similar... Hopefully the one ive ordered will work
Check your plugs! In this tutorial we touch the three plugs on the heat pump. When I pulled the plugs and harness loose the DRAIN PUMP PLUG CAME OUT on its own. They took care to put tabs on the heat pump plugs. But they did not do the same for the DRAIN PUMP plug. This turned my E:09 error to an E:23 error. This was because the drain pump plug came out when I was moving around the wires and that plug doesn’t have a reliable clip.
If it doesn't happen during the washing cycle, it isn't usually the pump. Do you have a zeolith dishwasher? It will be stamped on the inside of the door
Hi thanks for the video. I have a similar problem but my dishwasher is quite new and still under guarantee, yet the Bosch tecnician, whom I got looking at it, maintains the noise is regular and due to the washing fan, although I pointed out that the machine wasn't so noisy before and for quite some time after instalation. So, how do I get Bosch to reconsider and fix it? 😊
It's a difficult one, if they aren't willing to take the pump out and check it's hard to prove, you can always speak to customer support and ask if you can get someone to check the pump
The appliances are usually pretty easy to get into, also there are many different variations so it is difficult to show them all. But maybe a video I'll look into making, thanks
Thank you for this video. Helped me fix my unit. Had exactly same issue and sorted out today. My wife is so happy because for 3 days she had to wash everything by hands 😂
The most reputable appliance guy near me quoted me $450 + tax for this. I bought the OEM part for $100 then put 2 hours and fixed it by myself. Thank you.
Not a drop anywhere on the bottom. I even removed the float to see if it had any kind of a sign of water from the past. New pump will last 3 cycles and post the e09 code. Checked the wall plug behind the dishwasher, and it had no issues either. Dishwasher only item on that line. 500 series
Hi, what a great tutorial! I'm in the process of replacing the heat pump and I disconnected the heater connector from the main board (white box) that sits at the side of dishwasher. Now I'm not sure what's its correct position. I think it should be aligned to the right, so the side where main power connector is, as the most right four metal pins look "newer" than the other two on the left. Could you confirm that?
Thank you for an excellent instructional video! I also had difficulties removing the ntc or smaller connection (1:30), as other commenters mentioned. I marked each wire with a sharpie and also took a picture in case the wires pulled loose from the connector so I would know which went where. However, I found there was enough slack in the wire to pull the pump out with this connection still in place. I was able to pull the pump to the edge of the washer frame and then it was easy to rock the connector back and forth until it came out. Once again, thanks for your very helpful video!
And just like.. the pump is out ! Great video.. so happy I got the pump out.. grey cable is a bit tricky ... looks like damage on the element tracks .. blown at some point .. blue track residue on the main plastic connector .. cheers
@@Deb-cv6lw difficult to describe but it comes out the same way as the bigger cable... it lifts out.. in the end I got a small screwdriver and levered it up and out from the bottom of the connection.. use a very small screwdriver and don't jam it into the connector,,
