@mortomano4202 that's a good question but I'm not for sure Yamaha used the same bulb on the N. You may be able to check your bulb wiring connector to the bulb base Ibshow in my video and see if they match?
Awesome and useful video! My truck was driving me nuts with it wanting to go into the other lane when turning with 35s. I just did the reset so hopefully it will work for me as well haha. Thanks!
I just ordered the part. What’s funny is mine is on a 1999 Avalon. Apparently they used the same part on many models for many years. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have mine. I’ve been using a package of tissues to prop up the release handle so I can go back and open the door.
@christopherluce3294 I wonder how many different ways this broken hinge has been temporarily remedied!! I prefer the push button karate kick to the jammed paper method! Lol
Hey have this same problem with my 2006 Toyota 4 runner. Whenever I take a hard right or left or even on the same turn you took in the mountains it does the same thing where it brakes while I turn. We tried to replace the entire front and back abs wiring system and that didn’t work. Been trying to figure it out. Will try this out to see if it fixes my problem. Any suggestions?
@chrisavent8012 someone else replied and said this worked for their 4Runner. Even if you asked a dealership to do the VSC reset for you, it would be worth it. Sucks all the suspension work was done. I guess it's all new now but maybe not needed.
@motorcyclemayhem595 I agree 100%!! Mine still has the cork and no tune and will always be head and shoulders beyond more able to rip than I am as a rider!
@@ShawnMartinNCBIRDMAN I actually just recently acquired the bike it sat for 9 years in a garage unused. The thing is this bike has different shorter gearing than the R1 so they had to retard the ignition from the factoy in 1,2 3rd gears.
@@MotorcycleMayhem595 that's cool! Hopefully the rubber, gaskets and seals didn't go bad! I swapped my front sprocket to a 16T and put in a PCV, it likes to get up and go even more than before!!
Thanks for the vid, saw your review on Amazon which led me here and pulled the trigger on em. I've heard of Shogun and I like that they are made in the USA.
@jascam1 are you saying while I'm inserting it in during my count while I'm showing the dash so you can see what happens when the lights change their flashing?
@germanshepherdlover2613 I think I added a note in the description, 2008 and older gen 2's had a different size nut than mine. Totally random but true.
I like the simplicity of the this mod. Just curious, with this setup you state the fog lights work without the key and won't this drain your battery if they aren't manually turned off? I know at night it's easy enough to see, but what if you bump the button while cleaning the car during the day, you wouldn't necessarily notice them being on.
@mikeberecochea2020 yes you run the risk of leaving it on and running down the battery. The other option is to run the power for them off an ignition-switched power source so you could still have fogs anytime you want as long as the ignition is turned on, and still not reliant on the headlights being turned on (and not canceled out when high beams are turned on as well). It's a mixed bag just depends on how you want to do it!
@user-pc9it4tq3x there are some people who have dropped them if you can get a little grabber tool and pull it out from the opening it fell through that is best, otherwise you need to remove the exhaust and drop the pan to take it out. A borescope would be a great tool for finding it 1st.
@jamescollins-fi3no the magnets on any upgraded rotor are inside a metal sleeve so that they can't come undone from the epoxy like the original rotors do.
THANK YOU!!!! I've seen this solution before, but NO ONE would talk about WHY they were doing it!!! My 2014 was definitely FIGHTING ME on LEFT TURNS at 35-40MPH.... THANK YOU!!!!!!
@stevent7944 not sure why RU-vid didn't share your comment but carpartstrim has them in different color illumination if I'm correct. I shared that info in the description.
Thanks Shawn! The method of opening the door is a lifesaver! (still having problems with the door, spring seems okay, but now I understand the mechanics much better).
@text9003 awesome! Yeah it was getting a little embarrassing at the gas station when I couldn't find a long enough stick, so a good bit of pride went into making this video!! Hahahaa!
@justablacktacoma I ran these they should have them for gen 3 if that's what you're looking for: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pMlYI9guyZo.htmlsi=2hpEBJQKFnSPeZUm
@jer1980 I ran these on mine not sure what's different about 2005-2008...? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UuB3lYfiriE.htmlsi=xcKqQA8yTpNj8wbC
@bainer66 good question, but I haven't really been in a situation where I've been riding hard with the 16T, since technically I can roll the throttle less with a 16T and achieve the same RPM as the 17T did. Just riding normal and shifting through the gears in the same amount of time I'd be wound up higher so that would make sense I should lose MPG. All traffic or all mountain roads? That I haven't been able to check. I just know it gets to it (RPM) quicker than before!
@germanshepherdlover2613 I share that when I fix it with my speed healer here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tv0At9eeh8E.htmlsi=eRgjseAjoCWpUmZe
