What account size is it? Each account size has it's own limit. The 50k account is $1200 for each payout till 30 winning days or $6000 in payouts. Then you would move to Live Funding. And after the 1st payout your Max Loss Limit would be set to $50,100.
So in cheapest starter plan, you need 5 winning days of at least 100usd each to cash out for 1200usd max. Let's say I made 2400 profit in that 5 days, cash out 1200, do I need 5 more winning days to cash out again?
I made this video for beginners of Sierra Chart who have reached out asking how to install and load chartbook files. I show examples of installing files downloaded from my Sierra Chart webstore and how you can update files if the contracts are expired and/or the charts frozen.
This mid week update was great! I enjoyed it. Bitcoin has been consolidating all week right under resistance. Hopefully we see a pop tomorrow during the NY session. Thanks again Gabriel!

Hey man, thanks for the video, I'm on motivewave and looking to make the full transition to sierra, I was wondering does sierra have an easy way to switch between funded accounts, say I have 3 on top step, 3 on take profit trader, can I easily switch between these, or would I have to have 2 seperate doms one for each platform, and can it be all opened within the same window? thanks
You always need an integrated package and live CME data to use Sierra Chart for live trading with rithmic. Depending what style of Trading you’re gonna do you may need package 10 or 11. If you’re only going to trade price action and volume profile then you can just use package 10. But if you wanna use footprint, Dom, Delta and other order flow tools then you will need package 11 with Market Depth.
@@PriceActionVolumeTrader Got it. At the moment, I don’t use footprint or DOM so I planned to go for package 11. About the “Denali” thing everyone talks about with Sierra charts. Does that even apply to prop firm traders like me for example that uses Rithmic data with Fast Track? If so, does that require the CME package with market depth?
Yes, the only way to make Rithmic work with live data for CME on SC is to have an integrated package with denali data. From what you say, sounds like with package 10 you would have what you need if you don't need footprint, delta, market profile.
It should yeah. Those 3 companies I mentioned are recommended cause they work seamlessly with their Teton routing and also offer very low minimums for accounts. But any live broker that can connect to SC can be used.
Follow up question regarding ES 3000 tick movement? Say I only trade NQ what would be your recommended tick movement to set-up? Thanks for the informative videos already subscribed🙂
I use 2000 ticks for NQ during regular market hours. The thing with NQ is the scale is very large because of the values, so the footprint candles look huge, at least in Sierra Chart. So I will go to the settings and set 4 ticks per row. So it makes the scale 4 times smaller essentially. That's just my personal preference for NQ footprint. The regular tick chart just set to 2000 tick.
Presentation is not clear on this point - say the account reaches $2,000 profit and drawdown is ceased. Daily loss is $1,000. Is that daily loss on a closed position or open or both, so if I am long but position goes against me $1,500, my account is still good to go until I close it? Or will the account auto fail if an open position exceeds the $1,000 daily loss limit even if I did not close it? Tx.
Hi, can you please tell me the equavalent of 1000 volume per trade for NQ , also how much tick you are using for the clusters on 3000tick Chart? i use 4ticks on NQ for now but
It's all trial and error. You just gotta test out. In ticks and volume charts are pretty similar. For the 3000 tick footprint in ES I am using over 750 trade volume for the highlights. But every market has it's own nuances and even time of day will vary the volatility and volumes coming through.
There are less orders sitting in the book. So a big buy/sell market order/s can get through more price levels. Think of it as less friction to get through. hi, thanks for the tutorial it really helped me navigate the sierra mess. do i need to pay a $34.99 membership fee with stage 5 ? or if i just deposit 100$ i have no other fees ?
Pretty comparable to other companies. But each company will have their own stuff. Just got to adapt to it. But remember here you are skipping an evaluation phase.
Ever since I found you, volume footprints have been huge for me, you're doing excellent at teaching about using them and other confluences, thank you very much !!
Hello, thank you for your contribution to society by making these amazing videos. I just discovered your channel-lucky me! I'm wondering if you've ever looked into SMC and ICT trading strategies. I started my trading journey a week ago, and there's an overwhelming amount of information about learning to trade. It seems SMC and ICT are some of the hot trading concepts right now. I'd love to hear your opinion, as I'm sure you'd have some valuable insights. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I currently use MFF via Ninjatrader for my evaluation. I'd like to try Quantower. However, you stated that you CANNOT switch once an account is set up. Is this correct? I would have to purchase a new challenge.....then select "quantower"..... to setup dxfeed etc. (can you confirm I got this right? ...thanks
