@@SonOfGome I think so. The violence and humor is severely lacking here. Guns, loot, and vulgarity are sort of hallmarks of the series. The lack of gun/weapon variety and gore makes the action feel so generic and lackadaisical. I would’ve loved to see what an R rated Borderlands film with gunzerking would’ve looked like!
Infinity war, civil war, winter soldier, Age Of Ultron , iron man (honorable mentions: guardians of the galaxy volume 1. The avengers, no way home, Thor ragnorok, Captain America)
Age of Ultron definitely had some moments of brilliance! The first Capt. America-Thor’s hammer reference was incredible stuff and it foreshadowed Endgame!
@@PCwithGIL for sure I feel like it’s one of if not the most important movie next to civil war leading up to infinity war. It set up civil war, black panther, and like you said foreshadowed cap lifting thors hammer
I found both movies emotional. The scene where Riley's new Sense of Self is complete and it goes, "I'm not good enough" is so relatable to me and I love the scene where Riley is having an Anxiety Attack. However, I do agree that the first film was more emotional
I LOVE the idea behind the Sense of Self! It’s so beautifully human for people to constantly change! The more I think about this movie, the more I love it.
The movie had me bored from beginning to end. The girls had me cringing with the acting. The action was so quick and boring. The visions was basically the only good thing about the movie.

My girlfriend and I debated over the best baseball movie, between the Sandlot and A League of Their Own. A very difficult task, but it seemed to break between the female oriented movie (A League of Their Own) that she chose and the male oriented movie (the Sandlot) that I preferred. Both are fantastic and definitely numbers 1 and 2. Major League is a clear number 3. Very rewatchable but more of a general comedy than an "ode to baseball" like the first two. Moneyball and Little Big League, I haven't seen in a while. Might have to give them another look to see if I agree with those.
Hi Gil. I just came across your channel. I too enjoy baseball, movies, and baseball movies. Here's my top 10: 1.The Natural 2.Field of Dreams 3.Moneyball 4.Major League 5.The Rookie 6.The Sandlot 7.Bull Durham 8.A League of Their Own 9.Mr. 3000 10.42
Well done! My kid loves the Sandlot so that movie seems to have stood the test of time I just watched Major League last night and it's one of my favorites because im a baseball fan and they have a lot of convincing actors that with a little help look like the real thing. Plus it came out when i was 13 and the nostalgia factors in heavily But i think one of the best movies that gets little love in videos like these is 61* The HBO film that Billy Crystal made It brings to life the old Yankee stadium and is just a good drama You couldn't have found 2 better actors to play Mantle and Maris
I highly recommend the documentary “Knuckleball” (it’s free on RU-vid) I’m a subscriber - I like your channel, and your logo, I agree about “Moneyball” I also grew up with Frank Herbert’s (Dune) granddaughter. She was cool.
Here’s my list, because I feel like it. While not necessarily in order: League of Their Own Everyone’s Hero Field of Dreams Sandlot Bad News Bears (remake) Money Ball 42: The Jackie Robinson Story
It was really tough when it came to numbers 5 & 4. Field of Dreams and Bull Durham could’ve easily been there instead of Little Big League and Moneyball. The Top 3, I locked in from day one. Ultimately I still stand by my list, but man it was tough. Your list is great tho!
Meh it was better than half the movies this year, just wish it wasn't so disjointed cos of all the reshoots/rehires. I agree with what you say about cgi and the amateur hour editing from that and the actors probably not getting what is going on because the movie has been butchered so many times and probably wasn't so great to begin with. Such a missed opportunity but I still think it was better than Morbius lol
I wish the studio kept to the original plot of Ezekiel Sims trying to stop Peter Parker from being born. Idk where in the process they got cold feet and stripped away some of the better elements of the story. Yeah, Morbius was a travesty.
