Hey y'all! I am a first grade teacher and wife! I will be sharing all about my life as a teacher and lifestyle videos. I'd love for you to stick around! :)
Sugar mixed with sugar, perfect. The more i learn about how sugar literally feeds cancer, the more i can't understand why adults give it to kids constantly
Whoever enjoys this let them have it but I hope you ask parents before giving kids jitter juice. Because, for example, my kid is allergic to artificial dyes and not allowed to drink soda (not judging the parents that allow soda, you do you). My point is this a very crappy concoction that many parents won't be happy with.
In third grade we had rock soup and the teachers would make like chicken noodle soup but put rocks outside in them (they cleaned them but it doesn’t make it any better) and like 15 kids went to the nurse puking
Did you ask guardians first? I filed a grievance to the principal about my kids teacher who was giving them candy EVERY DAY as a bribe. There’s gotta be better ways to teach than sugar and bad habits.
I know some people aren’t Christian or have zero religious beliefs but I honestly and truly think that public school should be allowed to teach Christian or other religions to the children. I think it would really help a lot with the way these kids think.
@@LallyPoppShe checks with parents and the school before offering. Every child has a list in their file of known allergens and even what parents wish to limit (they can put sugar if they want to)
@@lmt6672That's not as true as you think it is. Yes it is a problem but do you know how those stats are taken? From BMI. BMI is a problematic stat because of how wildly inaccurate it is. The BMI of someone who is obese can be the same of someone who is perfectly healthy and works out a lot. Just food for thought - numbers and stats on paper can be misleading. And again, the teacher has gotten parental approval from every single child and has gotten approval from the school.
Wow- these comments are WILD. Can you imagine being criminally underpaid AND having to deal with parents? No wonder there’s a teacher shortage. I’m sure the kids love having you as their teacher- thanks for continuing to do the work that you do!
Being criminally underpaid doesn't give any teacher the liberty to do as they please with someone else's kids. My child for example has an artificial dyes allergy. This drink will put her in the hospital. I'm sure she's has parental permission to do this because otherwise that's just a lawsuit waiting to happen. But never, ever, be under the impression that a teacher has any authority that the parents didn't expressly give. Let's make that clear.
Wow how about no? As a parent I'd be so pissed. We don't give our kid that shit. And even if we did ...WATER IT DOWN. These kids don't need that Kinda defeats the purpose also...aren't u trying to take the jitters away😂
As a parent, I’m sorry but this would be the first and last time you had my kid in your class. Children shouldn’t be given anything to eat or drink (except school or parent provided) without 1) proper notice and 2) approval. I’d have my kid moved so fast because it’s hella disrespectful to just assume parents are okay with their 6/7yo having soda or anything else tbh
You're not fun..I remember this in the first grade I bonded with other kids literally over juice and that's saying something because I'm extremely shy in person stop being a weird party pooper
@@AKM8829Your kid won't be given this if you don't want them to have it... She has to have parental permission as well as permission from the school. So your kid only gets this if given explicit permission. This is just common sense to me but I do work at a school.
Regardless of if parents want their kids drinking soda, they’re at school now, and they’re gonna be drinking soda! Parents can’t turn off the fountain drinks in the cafeteria!
Love how cute this is but please be mindful of young students with Type 1 diabetes, however makes sense for your classroom, so you don’t send someone home with super high sugar or worse
