Hi, Thanks for a great video!! Could you please advise what are the 'things to keep in mind' when removing the Departments Tab from the Navigation Pane? What is the most effective way of managing which users have access to which pages / reports etc? Thanks Michael
Michael Wingrin If removing the departments menu button the user can not easily add other lists, reports or other pages/reports that they may have access too. It is advised to use the standard NAV permission sets and permissions in NAV to control the users access. To make the management of user permissions easier we recommend check out "easy security" by mergetool.com Check out their online videos for more info. In NAV 2015 they have now introduced a new change to the service tier where by you can have NAV dynamically hide the pages, Reports that the user does not have access too. hi i hade a quastion i hope u can help.. i get this error when i want to post a purcahse order: "Receiving No. Series must have a value in Purchase header: Document typ=order , No.xxxx. It cannot be zero or empty." the problem is that i cant find any Receiving No, series field to fill.. iam beginner ... please help thanks a lot
Currently ODT has an internal Rapid Start package that we use for our own use presently. A default RapidStart package can be produced from a Cronus company and tailored to suite however.
