Welcome to one of the largest video game libraries! Our goal is to archive every single licensed console game ever published.
Considering we're a longplay channel, you'll find that all of our videos are without commentary. Generally it's one video per game, but sometimes we're restricted to certain upload limits. As an archive, we're very strict on maintaining a certain quality format and making sure all of our gameplay is recorded under the same guidelines. Meaning, we record all of the meaningful and unique content. Sometimes this means our games are completed a 100%, sometimes it doesn't.
This isn't a one mans job! We work with a tremendous team. However, none of us are experts in every game. We therefore practice all of our recordings beforehand and/or use TAS if applicable or necessary.
Check out our sheets at sheets.longplayarchive.com or browse our playlists for easy navigation!
You are allowed to use snippets from our videos as long as you transform the content enough.
Got a pinned comment ready when I’m home that I’ll paste here which mentions it, but I didn’t include it in the original either and I actually hope to do a third part to this longplay with that included and some other bonus bosses
Given a selection of music from the actual show was used in this game, this is the closest thing to an English version of the anime with the Japanese score
After waiting for so long, Nintendo finally rerelease this game last week and it's a remake done right.I love this remake so much and i'm glad i finally owned a copy of the game given that the Gamecube version is so expensive. Graphical overhaul, making everything have more details to it. Soundtrack being remixed, they sound really good and you can toggle back and forth with the Gamecube badge if you want to listen to the original soundtracks. Every characters have their own voices which were adorable, you can restart right away if you die in the battle, reducing the need to backtrack to the last save. But even so....some people still find minor things to complain. 30 FPS? Does not bother me at all. Those who complain being unplayable, something is wrong with you. Vivian's gender being revealed? Of course it never bothers me. Those who did shall stay mad and cope.
I didn’t die a single time so I had no idea about that!! Super cool. I agree with you that 30FPS isn’t that much of an issue. It’s funny how my old GameCube upload actually feels ‘too fast’ now. I somehow prefer it in 30FPS. Thanks for your review
@darobster5520 Hopefully. This definitely got me in the mood for some more, but I’m just so occupied with everything else. It’s definitely a Nintendo title I’ll prioritize though. I’m slowly trying to work through any missed Nintendo games
@@longplayarchive Good idea. There’s so many Nintendo games i still want to see here. Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom (or any Zelda game (or remaster) you haven’t done yet), for instance.
Some peoples disdain for the the Castlevania games on the Nintendo 64 is fairly new. I’m happy to see that die down lately and saw some pretty cool Fan art & Tributes to them. Back when both 64 & Legacy of Darkness came out, that they were fairly received and the lowest scores being a 7.0 & 2 - Bad written reviews of it. They obviously weren’t well received as Symphony of the Night of course but both were acclaimed.

This is a five-minute game padded out to several hours of shooting the same thing over and over and over until it's ridiculous amount of HP is drained.
This is a great remake of The Thousand Year Door. I could go without the outlines on the characters, but the game looks incredible! I noticed how it takes more from the Japanese version. TEC's eye is red in the Japanese version and Vivian's backstory is now the same as in the Japanese version. Overall, a fantastic remake that anyone will enjoy, especially if you're a fan of the original.
Should have picked "Sorry Adler, I've got a job to do" like an ironic twist. He used it to trigger your implanted memories, now you turn it back on him.
