Absolute waste of your time this channel. All these videos are so vague and tell you absolutely nothing. I'm guessing if yku want any kind of real information you have to pay for it. I have no doubt the guy knows his stuff so I'm not dissing him in that respect but it's clickbait waffle
I'm on my fourth bully. Train them with food . Leave a radio on until about 6month . Taking them in your bedroom is a no no. They aren't children so don't treat them as such .You don't want a clingy dog .
Got my bull terrier yesterday. Two years old named Petey. Love him already. Just get used to him and him used to me. He is a strong dog me only 180 pounds. You can feel when tugs on the leash.
First off they are not ugly. They are absolutely the most beautiful, loyal dogs. RIP my Mudus! She was white with a black spot on her eye. She is greatly loved and missed forever.
I was first introduced to the existence of the Bull Terrier by the Canadian author and naturalist Ernest Thompson Seton. Seton was one of the founders of the Boy Scouts. I urge you to move Heaven and Earth to find his short story SNAP, the story of a Bull Terrier. Snap was Seton’s own dog and was briefly used in a mixed pack with many other breeds in the late nineteenth century when the ranchers and their cowboys were trying to reduce cattle depredation by wolves in New Mexico. I know you would be moved by it.
Mine loves the water. But all muscle and no fat means they don’t float. The rear end sinks first followed by the rest. They definitely need a dog life vest when near the water. Later in life (12 years old now), she will soak in the bathtub for 30 mins and loves it. Much safer.
How come none of y'all show the gull terrier an staff an bull terrier was the pitbull original pit dogs cause bull terrier had no bite but strength an gameness but horrible pain threshold an gull terriers were hog dogs that were to tall an to many issues like any pure White bloodline dogs so they did a staff with gull terrier and a bull terrier and finally got what we call American pitbull terriers and it's funny how the gull terriers went extinct because they got what they wanted out of them
Science teaches us that bull terriers are far more difficult to train than most other breeds. www.google.com/search?q=bull+terriers+are+very+difficult+to+train&sca_esv=974e9b430d8c4b64&sca_upv=1&rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS959US960&sxsrf=ADLYWIKE_ZI2G3TV7t-aGAFoB1p1Ws2YoA%3A1715739382833&ei=9hpEZr6tMv2v5NoP3viX6Ac&oq=bull+terriers+&gs_lp=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&sclient=gws-wiz-serp Therefore, I would like to get a dog that is easier to train. Dog breeds that make good guard dogs and are easy to train include but are not limited to rottweilers, pitbulls, german shepherds and Irish wolfhounds.
Tell me about it. My daughter is 5 and my son is almost 2. I do not want to get a dog now, because of how little my kids are. When my kids are older, I intend to get a dog. When I do this, it will be a little dog like a chihuahua or a toy poodle. Little dogs, you don't need to train. If they get out of hand, you can restrain them. You cannot do that with a Doberman Pinscher.
Hi, great vids. I really would like a bull terrier, is this dog if I take it to training school capable of coming night fishing with me for 2 nights a week reguarly and behaving itself without wandering off and disappearing , biting unexpected visitors who are just innocently approaching me to ask if I have caught any fish? Thank you 😊
People say they look strange but i've always thought these were the best looking dogs. Medium sized, short fur, stocky, and their face has a very powerful eye-snout-size ratio that resembles a great white shark, T-rex or any other apex predator, not the typical squashed frog-face face you see on a stocky mid-sized canine. The first time i saw one in person was a friends dog called Sarge, it looked like it could bench press 150kg. Then there's the Bull-Terrier in Babe: Pig in the City, I really liked it once it became friendly "Whatever the pig says, goes". That dog was such a G. But despite all that aesthetic, they're such nice dogs and super funny. Just gotta raise them with the right intentions.
Thanks for wasting about 40 minutes of my life. I've watched four of your videos. You need to rename this video “what you will get out of training with us” valuable points that need to be covered. “A conversation about what bullterriers and other dogs might need” all of these same points you are regurgitating in every video- hyping up leadership, strength awareness is what i already understand and is why I am seeking out a video that says: Step 1: put the collar here, pull here yada yada Step 2: then your going to move here and take this specific action ….step 3 and other things to consider…..you gotta give viewers on youtube *something* you can't simply market and adverts. Then you give more to paid subscribers…but your making a video… provide what your saying your going to….
As an owner of 5 bull terriers...all this advice is useless...all u have to do is want a dog....and treat it like a companion and everything will be fine
Our BT is fully crate trained like our other dog but I learned early on not to lock her crate ... She learned how to open the crate door when it's not locked by observing us closing the door behind the latch but without locking it. This is enough to keep our other dog in. But we came home on a few occasions with the BT roaming freely (and a sandal in the middle of the living room she'd been chewing on) and realized she must have gotten out of her crate somehow. So we started locking her crate to keep her in ... until one time when we were gone a repair guy entered our apartment to fix something. She was locked in her crate and we came home to find she had completely bloodied her snout desperately trying to open the crate door the way she had learned. She is the absolute best guard dog :( I realized never to lock it again - 99% of the time she stays in even though she could get out. And that 1% time she NEEDS to get out, I'd much rather she be able to than harm herself trying to guard against an "intruder" while being locked up. Hands down gentlest, most loyal and fierce guard dog breed there is <3
Everyone say this breed or that breed is the best breed. The bull terrier is not for everyone, but as a biased bully fan, they bring absolutely joy to every household. I lost my girl to cancer in May '23 and it is absolutely devestating. They bring so much to your life. My next dog in the very near future is another bull terrier.
I agree, we had 5 BT's over 35 years. during the height of Spudz Mckenzie Bud Ad.(80's) every one wanted one...our reply. Know the breed before bringing one home. We've loved each and everyone with their quirky personalities BUT they are not for everyone !
My female bull terrier went thru first heat cycle and grabbed onto my minipin chihuahua mix and wouldn't let go. After 20 minutes of my trying to pry her mouth open I screamed foe neighbor and he hit the terrir and she let go. Little one lost a leg but is fine now. We've had to separate all our dogs because of the chihuahua. We have brother bull terrier from a different litter, and the girl bull terrier and the chihuahua. The boy terrier has no aggression unless he hears Rosie going off barking . Definitely a pack dog. But we are terrified to let any other dog near the female, cause she don't let go. Wtf?
I have had ebt’s and sbt’s growing up. 5 in total. I then had a Rottweiler, an oeb, and I now have a pocket bully. I’m looking at rescuing a ebt bitch. He is really good with other dogs and I’m wanting her for company. How should I introduce them and build up to having them alone together? I’ve my own ideas. If anyone reading this has any idea please comment
What other dogs are there? I've had 12 over the years, breeding, showing and just loving them. I would love another one, but can't afford one. Any donations gratefully accepted, please, pretty please.
