PSYDEH is a local Mexican NGO strengthening indigenous, rural and migrant communities at the convergence of rights and human and communal development
With female founders, an all-women board, Mexican and international funders and friends and a majority indigenous and female team, our work is co-led by native women partners. We listen. We engage. We produce novel programs and projects in the Sierra Otomí-Tepehua region, Hidalgo, central Mexico.
With one small global donor investment at a time, we train an indigenous women-led network of 5 organizations and 1 Cooperative on managing and utilizing their own resources. We help them to launch projects in line with their own demands. We link and strengthen the network’s 500 members in public forums, through research and one-on-one support.
