Gen X empty nesters who are getting ready to move out of the city and to our off-grid homestead. We are looking forward to more of a simple way of life. We do a little bit of everything on our channel. Building projects, gardening, cooking and more. We are hoping to move out to our property full-time soon. We are also planning on adding chickens and sheep & possibly rabbits as well. We currently have two dogs and one cat. You Can see pictures of them in our RU-vid Banner.

I'll have to show you the picture of the one I have at home they are absolutely gorgeous. I was actually half tempted to bring them out here and trade them with the ones I have at home because I absolutely love them so much more.
Glad that you’re ok. Stings with hives is nothing to mess around with because next time it could be way faster and worse. Just so glad that you’re okay. I think you should keep the epi-pen with you because you can run into wasps or bees anywhere! So glad that you are okay!!! Plus to have migraines…. No wonder you were exhausted! I also had big time wasp infestation here. As much as I hated to do it I had my yard sprayed several times last year and once this spring. Thankfully it really helped. I was desperate to lower the numbers of them. Several times I was stung 14 or more times at once and it happened several times. I did not get the hives but I was feeling ill after each attack like that. Even with the Benadryl. This year so far I have only seen a few wasps. Lots of honey bees. I am really allergic to them but they are not aggressive like the wasps are. So sorry about the migraine. I hope it has let up for you by now.
@@shadesofidaho I wish it has let up sadly I am prone to them and have been dealing with them for years. Right now I am on week 3 of a constant stream of them due to weather related and physical related reasons?
@@Deerhavenoffgridhomestead I totally understand. I was trapped inside my house most of last summer. So much better this year. Except for the thick smoke and high temps. This week is supposed to be better. With the fire trucks filling up I can barely water my yard. Not complaining At least I still have a house and yard. Many do not. So far I have not heard of any new fires started with last nights thunder storm. There was a bit of rain. I hope that helped. I used to get a lot of migraines. The chiropractor fixed my neck issues . AND at my age now I only get ocular migraines. No pain involved Just weird like looking through a kaleidoscope. My eye doc said it happens as we age and it really is wonderful there is no pain involved. Take care.
They told me it was because I took something before I left was the main reason I was able to get there without having any problems. I never go anywhere without it now.
That's scary. I have never had any problems with getting stung before. Make sure you have Benadryl standing by with you guys at all times. They reiterated that was the one thing that made it so I was able to get to emergency services. If I hadn't taken that they're not sure I would have made it to the hospital on my own since I was so far out and had no one closer by to drive me.

I did the same thing you did with the same type of pieces. I had nothing but trouble. The water flow could not be adjusted causing it to come out too fast and overshoot the lid. The lid would fill up with water faster than it would drain back into the vase so I made more holes. The glass beads would plug up some of the holes causing more drainage problems. I’m just about to give up but I would really love to make this fountain work. Any suggestions?
