How did you get that 6.0 fan to work? I tried installing that same one in my ‘88 7.3 and it blew air toward radiator instead of sucking it through… You would have had to reverse fan direction, did you do that with a different fan clutch?

Hey! Help please! I have some cultured marble that has a rough spot in the gel coat. This is because I went too aggressive in trying to remove a rust stain using lemon juice and baking soda. The spot is more dull too. What would you recommend to fix it?
I want to try this however, I'm concerned I will burn through the remaining gel coat. My vanity is 25 years old and we had a professional come in about 10 years ago to buff out scratches. There are lots of scratches that I suspect came from our cleaning company using abrasive products on it. In hindsight, I should have let them go when I first started seeing the scratches. What are your thoughts? Is there another alternative?
My husband and I am thinking of driving to belize with a fifth wheel next year...would you do it again or would you opt for doing something different? We were in Placencia a few months ago and loved it!
Honestly, yes, I would do it again. It was stressful and tiring pulling such a heavy trailer through the mountains in Mexico, but otherwise, it was actually a pretty fun adventure!
Recently went to dump some off at the local Advance Auto and they told me someone had dumped oil into the coolant drum. Woman there told me they would be fined heavily for that. My question is water and oil don't mix so it should be pretty easy to filter out the oil from the coolant. Also a lot of used coolant that comes in already is contaminated with other things including oil.
I know this is an old video but i just watched them in May 2024 and the instructions are spot on and very helpful. Something they didn't say in the video which I had happen a lot was the sprayer loaing its prime. If it stops spraying and the motor starts running constantly its lost prime. But the good news is you don't need to redo the initial prime steps of running water again. Just switch it to prime. Pull the drain hose above the paint and turn on. It will start to pump paint back into paint can. This will clear out the air pocket that caused it to lose prime. Do it for about 30-45 seconds. Then reconnect drain hose and turn back to spray and should be good to go!
Have a couple very small chips (besides light to medium scratches). Not trying to get it like new just improve. So there is product called ‘The Original Gel Gloss’ wax polish for countertops, sinks tubs I would like to use. What should I do to the chips?? Why can you not use Gel Gloss instead of clear coat over deep areas like the chips ? (Says it has some quartz in it)

Yes! We use a Berkey filtration system for all our drinking water and have for many years. Typically, the water on the peninsula is good, potable water but the fact that we filter all our drinking water anyway makes rare times like this less of a shock.
