Many things are sprayed on flowers during their growing process to help manage pests, encourage growth, etc. Unless you know the source of the flowers (local, etc)., it's always best work with them with care.
Depends on the market that it's being sold in, how long the garland is, and how much the babies breath costs at the time it's purchased. Many variables at play! A guesstimate would be $15/foot.
Hello! Did the garland end up being double sided throughout or single sided? I wanted to be sure I order enough to get that lush look you have at the end! Thank you!
This is a wonderful video! Clear, concise and full of helpful tips for beginners…. I have yet to use floral foam for an arrangement, but I’m really excited to try it now. Thanks so much!
Here is a link to the spool wire: amzn.to/3rqmrFf You can use any twine or rope for the lead. Babies Breath does not preserve well, but if you're looking to keep it fresh for a few days after you make it just roll it up and place in plastic bag. Keep it as cool as possible (in a spare fridge is best (not less that 40 degrees F). Good luck!
Hi there! Babies Breath is sold by weight so the quantity of stems per bunch can be different each time. However, there are typically 6-8 stems in a bunch. I bet if you ask your local source to sell it to you by the bunch, instead of by the stem, they'd be happy to do it! Good luck!!
I enjoyed your video of the Flemish and your Flob heart design. I liked the way you introduced the principles and elements as you designed the arrangements.😊 The Flemish design was exquisite. Jan uk
Hi. I'm late checking out this great tutorial. Like you, I was able to create about 18 inches with one bunch of gyp to get the same lush look. This helps me with my estimating and pricing. Many thanks!!
