i see this video is a few years old but iv followed it step for step when trying to pack pbo it comes back with skeletoncontainer cannot have blank parent bone. any ideas or help would be appreciated love the videos to <3

I'm having an issue where once I make and publish the pbo give it the key and my friend uploads it to his server it says that the clinet has a mad which the server does not any ideas why this might be?
@tweak86100 yes I figured it out. I was able to pack it and tested it in dayz editor. Thanks I really appreciate the reply you'll have to forgive me I'm pretty new to this stuff lol.
@@tweak86100 What about if you modify a backpack that already has a slot for a gun or something else? Maybe the fisking backpack i see some servers have?
Hey thanks for the great Tutorial. Can you say me how it have to be made for a cutom vehicle slot like the metalsheet slot at the m3s? I wanted to make a slot in each car on my server for a Gasoline and Engineoil container. There was a mod in workshop it is too old and the author have signed it so i have no possibility to look into it.

Tweaks I am curious and can't find any videos about it or maybe im not phrasing properly but I have an idea for a mod and I am hoping you could make a tutorial, I want to know how to make a menu, similar to a trader menu or for example admin menu, a sort of GUI. that would open on screen with buttons, could you make a tutorial of this for me?
Its a cool idea but I never did any deep dive into that stuff, most GUI i have dealt with is for custom icons so I wouldn't be the best one to make a tutorial for that kind of thing... I only like to make tutorials for things im 100% confident and sure about.
Wonderfull, but, what about if I just want the handle to glow? Or other retexturing applications (maybe modifing or adding another stage with it's own .paa image?)
in your steam library right click on dayz tools, browse local files then when that pops up go to Bin and then go to workbench and in there create a new folder and call it EDDS... you can just save the image as a .paa then drag it to the new edds folder you made in the workbench no need for tga...
im not sure, I have never gone even close to 45 mods... I believe I have seen some servers with more but the more you add the more it will eventually cause Server performance issues.
I am not sure on this, there are quest mods on the workshop that generate JSON files for you to edit the quests but I haven't used them and most servers I ran were all Vanilla Plus style and Survivial style servers. Usually mods like that provide some sort of explanation either with a read me file in the mod itself or in their discords
it is done in the JSON file generated in your servers profiles folder by the map mod you are using. Since There are many different mods that have map and markers each one is different for example Vanilla plus plus map mod adds a JSON folder in profiles folder you can edit and add the map markers, DayZ Expansion mod has folders generated in your profiles and mpmissions folders and there are Map Settings JSON files in those to edit those as well....
How do I make an override for a custom modded helmet that has no attachments? Say I wanna add a workable gas mask filter attachment slot and a functional NVG slot? I wrote the script to want I thought would work already but it only added the slots to attach these to items but they do not function? And I’d like them to be not visible.
is it possible to make a weapon have custom damage/shock, bullet speed etc? those seem to be caliber related only.. maybe with custom weapon scripts overriding the shock/damage class etc?
