From Denmark 🇩🇰 with so much live for the mighty Scrunter😁😄. I remember those days when life was worth living, 😃🤣. Now is November 2021 in a so-called pandemic filled with corruption and conspiracy 😳😱😃
This is unbelievable. I love calypso and I am ashamed to think that our calypsonian treated this man with such disdain. He was the creator of many of our top calypsos
EYE FOR EYE taken from the Album “Vice Roy Vintage Calypso Classic” SUNG by VICE ROY McINTYRE COMPOSER: ROY McINTYRE ARRANGER: Lenny Hadaway MUSIC PRODUCTION: JOYWAY PRODUCTION (Trinidad) Roy McIntyre was born in Silver Mill, San Juan, Trinidad & Tobago, From an early age, Calypsonians such as The Mighty Sparrow, Blakie, Lord Kitchener and the likes, had a major influence on me, as a matter of fact, it was in the year 1956, the year in which The Mighty Sparrow won the Calypso Crown for his rendition of Jean and Dinah that I got involved in composing Calypsos. It was then that my love for Calypso was formed, deciding that one day I must become known as a calypsonian, immediately thereafter I started composing. My first break in the Calypso Arena came when I sang at The Big Bamboo Tent, which was run by The Mighty Skipper on St. Vincent Street. P.O.S. after that season , however, I realized I wasn't quite ready, I had to acquire the art of composing and so from then on I started on my journey of studying the art . However it took me years and years of writing before I finally had the confidence to have two of my compositions produced. Being a pan lover that I am, I was able to compose two pan songs entitled " Sexual Harassment " and " Tribute to Trinidad All Stars "
José Joyette a été le premier batteur de The Do en tournée. Très précis et très énergique! The Do ont toujours eu d'excellents batteurs. Belle performance sur Aha du premier album. dommage pour la qualité de l'image!
