Welcome to our channel! We are so pumped you stopped by!
The Journey was started with the idea that you don't have to be retired, rich, and old to go out and enjoy the world. You can travel with your family, kids, and friends, without breaking the bank or limiting yourself. You can still create lasting memories no matter what stage of life you’re in. Memories that will recharge yourself and your loved ones for the everyday grind. Life can be an adventure, you just have to remember, “Tomorrow is too late!”
Hi @mikeathur-m5p Unfortunately the Golden Skybridge closes following the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend as does the Grizzly Bear Refuge. However, you are able to visit various locations in Yoho National Park, Thompson Falls & the mount 7 lookout. The Columbia Wetlands Outpost is also open during the final weekend of October but will have attractions that are different from what is shown in this video as the water levels drop significantly in the Columbia Wetlands in the fall. We hope this helps. Cheers
love mine and have been using it to cook at home - outside - to keep inside cool. check out these real veggie burgers! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Hu7AoHZ7_yo.htmlsi=k0yKJSg6jwbrt6NM
Hello, I’m going to do this hike with some buddies next month… was just wondering… how long did it take you to get to the lake from the start of the trail and how long did it take you to get back? Thank you!
The local sporting store where I bought this stove did not know about an adapter. The stove has sat in the garage for about 10 years solely for emergency use. I'm glad to find this video. Ordering the adapter today. Toting the stove and propane tank for a camping beach vacation.
Visiting Tahoe i have my own favorite places, none of them on this list....For Breakfast , am a big fan of Berts on Hwy 50 and Ernies coffee shop which used to be where Berts is now but is now across the street....Best dinner by far for me is Fiores Italian on Ski Run Blvd but it will cost ya...My favorite place to eat in Tahoe is Sonnys BBQ on Hwy 89 sorta kinda near Camp Richardson...Another favorite is in Crystal Bay called Soule Domain....Regular Bar and Grill food with an extensive menu....Steamers on Hwy 50, my hangout after a day of skiing....
Trust me, it’s even better in the fall and winter!!! Get up there after like a freezing rain storm, and all the trees are frozen! Such a still feeling… you’ll need AWD though… 10/10 would recommend!
@SPCS I couldn't agree more. It's a almost magical experience to see peak fall foliage, especially in the White Mountains. I saw license plates from just about every state in the country. To see the looks on other people's faces who have never seen fall foliage like that and hear their excitement was so great
I used to visit Rialto Beach and camp at Mora Campground several times/year when I was younger. I loved to hike 2 miles north towards Hole-in-the-Wall, enjoying Osprey, Bald Eagles, Oystercatchers, whales, and seals along the way. You can either access the tide pools via the Hole-in-the-Wall's entrance at low tide (beware of slippery rocks) or else look for the black and yellow marker for the overland trail. Lots of wonderful marine life in the tide pools too. Thanks for visiting this beautiful, wild, and majestic beach with its driftwood, cobble stones, haystacks, and coniferous forest edging the shoreline. Jenny Seattle, WA🐙🐚🐬🦭🐡🐠
@@TheJourneyest2016if I may lend some future advice. Please either have it ready to deploy from your belt or attached to your backpack front strap. A grizzly or black bear (a distant cousin in species) can sprint at 35 mph. If you are ever attacked and need to get the pack off and then dig to find the spray, it will most likely be too late.
Cuyahoga pronunciation was off a little bit. We lived south of there in Wooster for 8 years. Don't try to pronunce Wooster as it isn't like the one in Mass. Anyway, Cuyahoga National park is beautiful. We will be at our house which is across the road from Ouabache State Park. Their campground has been full for over 6 months. 124 campsites SOLD OUT in April!!! Unheard of in northern Indiana in April.
Excellent review, very clear on the pros & cons, very good demonstration. I appreciated that your knowledge of the stove, is EXPERIENTIAL, and not intellectual. Real world experience is ALWAYS the best. I need/will get one of these. Thank you.
