For all þe izzet wizards I've watched on RU-vid, Brian may be my favourite pilot of it. But while it makes no functional difference, as a huge nerd for land arts, I do wonder why only his spirebluffs aren't full-art?
Im picking up amulet, and this is the kind of resource i would wish there was more of. Would love more gameplay with the rumble list. There is pretty much nothing on youtube
I’d like to make it clear that I wasn’t trying to Scum CJ. I should have been more aware of how I tapped my mana with Blood Moon in play, and did walk back the tapping of the Island.
G1 at 12:15 izzet player (Brian) could have -3 Tamiyo to get an instant back and grow the murktide for lethal instead of putting eldrazi player ( Josh) on 1
47:23 - so rough seeing the loss due to casting the bolt early. After playing the deck myself this is why I’ve added two murktides to the list, I found myself being in complete control but lacking a way to close the game close to time often.
Filthy Titan player not paying for pact!😢 18:14 some habits never die. I believe if it was caught, I would have done the same thing and play a second Titan under cavern and not hold up Mirrorpool. But mistakes happen.
Big fan of Robert and the way he played. Great example of sportsmanship and a phenomenal pilot of a high level deck. Great game and I appreciate the encouragement and effort to explain triggers and the stack clearly for the stream!
Really good sportsmanship on show here though, Robert getting starved on mana G3 and Noble's "sorry for that" followed by "part of the game". Good stuff.
Doing a single shuffle after a fetch into a surveil i don't like. I don't feel like Robert is doing anything shifty, he's just trying to play quickly due to control taking a little longer, but it doesn't randomise the deck enough even with a basic cut and he can have a good idea what might be near the top after it. I guess its on the opponent to do more than just cut in this circumstance but should do at least a few shuffles not just one..
2:32 Flooded strand does not get overgrown tomb, possibly a cheat due to the follow up leyline binding for domin but doesn't check after announcing each action as stated.
The stack ruling is incorrect. Jeskai player can cast Solitude while Dress Down is on the stack. After Atraxa resolve priority is on Goryo player, they pass with Dress Down on the stack, priority goes to Jeskai player. This is not Yugioh.
