Although, it does make sense how it would get confusing starting at 0:44 where the triangle and noise are in 6/8 but the pulses are in 3/4, but the song is ultimately in 6/8
ty! I wrote "exit the gates of hell" in FamiTracker! usually for NES I go Dn-FamiTracker; battleofthebits had open entries for original FamiTracker, so I went w the original. for Sega Genesis I'll go Furnace for the wave vids I use corrscope! and the individual channels I'll get one by one from VirtuaNSF; first export .nsf from Fami, then open .nsf w VirtuaNSF, then boost each channel to -3db w Audacity 2.4.2 (versions 2.4.2 and back are legit!) so they show up good in the video feed. no mix change for the audio; corrscope uses one audio file for audio and one audio file per video only channel for Furnace I'll just export from Furnace! same w BambooTracker and PC-98. and if there's nothing really important happening in the stereo field I'll boil the per-channel tracks down to mono for video visibility. I got a few AdlibTrackerII songs on botb; haven't found a clean way to get channel per channel audio from those and there's 18 channels of AdLib
Classic gritty sgen guitars - take me back to all those high-paced action titles! Also some cool triplet (?) bits in there to counteract that rock groove.
here's the .fur! drive.google.com/file/d/1i4uPrsZHCBGxj1g94HjVrvHves_cYitn vid's oscs show more "dip" than I'd expect from flat sneven waves but yeah all SN76489! if those were 2A03 pulses I'd go thru some duty cycles; at least a few 25% pulses written in the lower lines
this one nailed my goal! and yes on all counts but revisits are really rare; can't step in the same river twice and all that. gotta keep going! I'm doing a samples remix atm here's the song's .dnm file for Dn-FamiTracker! drive.google.com/file/d/1UA2S6yJY5nHsvLSpyVQO5tsni3eO6Y_P
here's the .dmn (opens w Dn-FamiTracker)! drive.google.com/file/d/1pHBu6SL9DVAjMubVR5N6LJOH3R62kZkj noise mostly there for feel; hats are low volume, kicks and snares are made w noise (presence) and triangle (punch); some noise risers are there just enough to cue the next part of the song? hat instrument volume's "15 12 0"; kick and snare vol noise is "15 14 7 4 2 1 0" (both done w "kick n") there's a rare open hat in there too yet yeah also low volume! and the next perc cuts the open hat fast
