I gave you like cause it sounds good, but as Croat who know things from 1st hand it was not just like that. At first all westerns was on Serb/Yugo side and soon as conflict became more brutal they put embargo for all sides. Thing is that Serbs had most of Yugo weapon and we had to steal it, or buy on black market. Hungarians, Russians(unbelieveble but truth) and IRA helped a lot. I think that attack on Dubrovnik as well known historical city was point where westerns change their mind and took our side. I remember well our diplomat saying to American "we don't want you to go there and fight for us. Just quit embargo and give us opportunity to defend ourselves". Then it hapened. All actions, including "Storm" were completely done by Croatian army. One thing Americans did is that they bombed Serbian radar stations in Krajina. That's all. After all in Bosnia, Americans helped Serbs by stoping us and Bosnians in front of Banja Luka. Today they admit that it was mistake, cause if they had let us enter Banja Luka, there won't be problems in Bosnia today.
