Sewlush is the place to come to find out about sewing. Particularly machine sewing, machine embroidery and making bags, purses, pouches and wallets. If you love sewing, fabric, craft and textiles you'll love Sewlush.
Great gifts I don’t line it tho .i use sticky tape to tape zipper on for easiness the. Sew. 👍 I made tons of these . Jeeps snoopy husbands and kids out of finding your stash cash or in a hotel for traveling keeps the maids from stealing ( yes we have to think of in case when traveling); as they might not look into your coat in the closet to see this hanger safe as I call it . Well done fun project. Thank you vikki from New York
This is what you need for this project. Clear plastic 21 x 24cm (8 1/2 x 9 1/2 ins), 50cm (20ins) of wide bias binding, 60cms (24ins) x 19cm (7 1/2 ins) cotton fabric for handle, 42cm x 6.5cm (16 1/2 x 2 1/2ins) cotton fabric for base of pouch. You will also need a Teflon foot for your sewing machine. For another sewing project go to ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iIM8h8cBuAI.html
im still having hard time with this software, its quite complicated, i followed this but i cant get my image to size correctly, it comes in far too big
If you mean the image you are using in the background, you need to reduce it in size in a picture editing programme. Once you know what size works write the size down! You've then got a guide for future images. A lot of cameras and phones take pictures that are way too big for PE design. PED can't reduce their size that's why you need to resize first.
@@ChristineDownSewlush_sewing Thank you Christine, its funny how it sounds obvious once youve been informed... im much wiser now thank you soo much.. Martin
My sister lost her shepherd two years ago my plan is to stitch out her baby and surprise her. She does so much for everyone and I just want to do something special for her. I know it will mean the world to her. I’ll try to post a picture if I’m able to make it look like a dog lol
Yes but not in photostitch. To get a silhouette you would need to open the photo as a background picture and then use the fill tool to trace the photo.
I prefer a ordinary zip so the easiest way to hide the zip would be to cut the front top piece a little longer and fold the edge so that it overlaps the front bottom. Then sew the zip so that the zip is hidden by the overlap. Alternatively if you know how to sew an invisible zip you could use one of those.
@@ChristineDownSewlush_sewing thank you for replying. Yes, I would like to understand the basics (if that is possible) about digitizing. Let's say, I would like to digitize someone's handwriting as an example.
@@ChristineDownSewlush_sewing WOW! I cannot thank you enough for doing this. The video is absolutely fantastic! I want to learn all things about digitizing. LOL. What about making a font thicker/fatter?
The measurements for this stocking are: 38cm high, 19cm wide at the top, 25cm wide at the toe. These measurements include 1cm seam allowance. (16 ins high, 7 1/2 ins wide at top, 10 ins wide at toe). 3/8ths in seam allowance.
Well done Christine. I have always steered clear of zips in bags but you inspire me to have a go with your clear instructions. Some tutorials take 5 minutes to start because the tutor is busy talking about her cat, dog, machine, food, husband, etc. You got straight into it which is what we sewing people want.
